Here is a sneak peek of the first character concept by Bertrand Benoit that Cipher Studios will produce for the Hell Dorado miniature game. Doppelsöldner Captain, Augustinus Raimund.
The Doppelsöldner regiments are heavy infantry troops trained to battle the monstrous creatures of the demonic hordes. Augustinus Raimund leads his Doppelsöldner elite, disciplined and merciless men of iron will and skins of steel, into the heart of battle to cleave their enemies in twain with their gigantic zweihänder swords.

hehe I don’t wanna be a pain in the ass, but it’s written “Doppelsöldner” (like on the sketch)
it’s german. Söldner is the german word for a mercenary and the title Doppelsöldner (doble mercenary) mean nothing else, as that they get the guerdon doubled.
Hey, I don’t see any bolter in his right hand. I suppose he’ll need some land raider’s support on the battlefield… Hu… Wait a minute. O_o

LOL Honigkuchenwolf, not a lot we can do about the name. He’s the leader of the currently released Doppelsöldner unit. Just pretend that it means they are the Mercenary’s Mercenary…(.i.e. a ‘Man’s Man’ means an ideal of manliness)…Yeah, that’s it

The name fits to the lookoutof the sketch… I only wanted to share from where the name comes.. and what his deeper meaning is.
