I am back at it again, and this time I will be escalating The Empire. The Empire is a very unique, yet straight forward faction in play style. Most Empire characters are slow, but luckily they have a lot of armor to make sure they can get to the battle, and once they do get there, a major beat down is sure to ensue. Without any more delay let us get started.
At 200 points my team consists of Macbeth, Lilian, Janus, and Claire. This is a great team to use at a lower level. Janus has a lot of staying power while still being able to deliver good attacks for 45 points. I cannot count the number of characters I have lost to Claire’s special charge, Eadgil Solaris. Macbeth is a 28 HP beat stick that, when teamed with Lilian, grants you some healing capabilities.
At 300 points I would add Griever and the Empire Agent with 20 extra points spent on upgrades . Griever is one power house of a leader and has spelled the end to many of my characters, even ones with full HP. Point for point the Empire Agent is one of the best agents of all the factions. Given proper upgrades she is easily as good of if not better than other 40 point units in the Empire faction.
At 400 points I would add Odin and Samiel. Odin has the possibility to dish out a massive amount of attacks and kill a character in a single attack round. This effect is random and relies on critical hits, but with gnosis, critical mastery, and the Empire’s Combat Mastery advantage, there is a good chance that you will get a crit when you want it. Samiel is very good at laying the hurt onto everyone within the range of his sword. He also packs a pleasant surprise when you try to kill him…. he stays alive and keeps fighting for a number of rounds!
At 500 points I would add Duncan and Daniella to the team. Duncan is very straight forward and packs a pretty good punch at a measly 45 points. Daniella is one of the few Empire characters that is good at ranged combat and at this level you will want a little versatility. As the vanguard of your team marches forward, she is advanced deployed and peppering your targets with her arrows.
Finally for 600 points I would add Lilith and another empire Agent at 35 points. Lilith is a very unique leader and will bring some new options and tricks to your swelling team. She is also an able fighter and will mix well with the rest of your hard hitters. What more can I say about Empire Agents I love em so much why not add a second.
That’s what I have for this round I appreciate any comments you feel like leaving. Look out for the next installment where I will be escalating Black Sun.

Thanks for the escelation
I would use Lilith earlier in my lists myself as I feel her versatility is a true asset to an Empire List. Especially her blessing upkeep ability which helps a ton the empire in the department they lack the most imo: the Attack characteristic (in terms that they lack special skills that boost their attack excluding aiming for critical mastery rolls). This alone makes her a better choice then Griever. Regarding the Empire Agent I agree that he is a solid choice that can feel both offensive and defensive roles.
You bring up some good points about lilith i went with greiver first becuase i have a lot less experience with lilith and i have been on the sharp end of Grievers sword many times
