Poll: What do you want to see more of?

Hi Cipher Fans!

Matt took this cycle off, but fear not, he will be back in three weeks with more excellent hobby tips for Hell Dorado fans. I thought I’d take this opportunity to get some information from our readers about what they like to see in these articles. Do you come mostly for the awesome pictures of painted minis and terrain? Or do you prefer the tactical reviews and discussions? Would you like to see more battle reports? More terrain? More step by step painting guides? Let us know in the comments below!

I most enjoy the painting tricks/guides and tactical reviews of the different characters. I find it helpful to get tips on who I should put in my armies. I was a little less interested in the battle report.

I am a fan of Anima, so I find that I benefit most from Painting Guides (which are usually unrelated to a particular game) and from more general strategy discussions (this benefits me as a new War Game player in general)

      Thanks!

Always love to see well painted models and terrain, so tutorials, well written battle reports with photos, and army/team showcases all fit the bill. Something new I would really like to see would be some behind-the-scenes kind of stuff: interviews with the Cipher team, the game creators/designers, the sculptors, play-testers, etc. Something short (4-5 good questions) appearing with a couple photos (the subject of the interview and favorite model perhaps) on a once a month basis would be cool and give everyone a look at the process (and maybe the occasional spoiler).

Terrain guides have inspired me to start my own board, thanks for all the tips guys. I’d like to see more battle reports with greater detail in movement, deployment, strategy and who is fielding what and if it works.

I like the tactical advice articles. Would be good to see some discussions on different synergies amongst the models available to each Helldorado faction.

Would love to see more battle reports for Hell Dorado with pictures featuring unique terrain, painted miniatures and good write ups on the tactics used

For Hell Dorado I have always found it confusing to know when the casters can or can’t release their spells – because of the various states, abilities as well as the battle field position of – are you engaged, in a control zone, did you move etc.

Some examples running though what can and can’t be done would be helpful and a flowchart or similar chart / grid device would be really useful in play.

Hope to see this parchment in the underworld some day.

I always like the painting and terrain tutorials. They’re my favorite. I prefer the battle reports to the tactics reviews and list building advice because I feel like there’s room to talk about tactics and strategy in the BatRep.

I think you guys are doing a great job with these guides.

It would be nice to get some previews of new models/greens/rules/wip/Art or whatever from the horses mouth. It seem most of the infomation I find is from outside sources and not enuff at that.

      Keep it up!

I would like to second the idea for a “behind the scenes” look at Cipher. That would be awesome!

For Anima Tactics I would like to see a nice Campaign book, along the same quality as the rules, AT lends itself for a great campaign game, include or separate a art book of the concept for the characters.
