Circles of Hell: Building a company part 3

Day 2

Hello everyone,

Today I got around to painting the base coats on my Retiarius, Isaiah Ben Moshe and Jaws of the Deep. Now I wasn’t supposed to paint Jaws of the Deep until the next day but found that I had a bit of time on my hands so I managed to fit him into my 45 minute painting session. Remember the aim is to just get the base coats on your models so that you can apply the stain to all of them at the same time.

The list of colours used are exactly the same as those listed in my last article in addition to the following. As before I use GW paints but look up a conversion chart to see the equivalent in other ranges.

Laurels- Snot Green
Jaws of the Deep skin- Calthan Brown
Jaws of the Deep fur- Scorched Brown
Robes- Skull White
Wooden Staff- Bestial Brown
Scrolls- Deneb Stone
Retiarius

Retiarius

Pros- Excellent melee support, good status effects on weapons, good value for points

Cons- Slow, vulnerable to certain weapon types, no faith

Isaiah Ben Moshe

Isaiah Ben Moshe

Pros- Comes with the Golem!!!!, has a command point

Cons- Very very squishy, if he gets squished you lose control of the Golem, as it goes berserk

Jaws of the Deep

Jaws of the Deep

Pros- Excellent in melee, excellent maneuverability, demoralize, no wounded state

Cons-No protection, easy to shoot at, must be careful to not send him to far ahead of company without support.

Alright, nearly done. Just got to finish  the Golem in my next session and we can move onto the stain!
