Today I’ve got a little something special for everyone. I’m going to talk about developing new Anima Tactics scenarios for casual events.
I love expanding the game days between my friends and I into more interesting and structured events by creating a series of unique scenarios just to spice up the gameplay. As great as the official scenarios for the game are, they can certainly get stale after a while. First, today I present you with the PDF describing the setup and rules for one of my custom scenarios. After you’ve had a couple of days to absorb the implications of it, I’ll come back on Friday to talk about the decisions that went into each part of the scenario’s design, and the balance considerations that went into it.
WARNING: The following scenario has not been widely play-tested or meticulously balanced; it is intended for fun, casual events, not serious tournament play.
I present you with: “Assault”.
