Anima - Tactics / Dark Faction / Re: Fear the real Power of Shadows

To my understanding the term special ability is some times used in the Anima texts as a general reference to any ability. This is, of course, at odds with what is said about special vs innate abilities on page 11 of the rulebook. Since the types are very clearly defined on page 11 the way Aizen's ability functions is seems fairly clear to me. It makes little sense to say here is the definition in black and white except they are all basically of both types even though that is contradictory to their most cut and dried basic definitions.
Since Anima isn't developed in English it is pretty much impossible for it to function at the level of precision as any game that is developed in English in that language. The Spanish takes precedence. All English translations are run by the developers, but there tends to be some amount of confusion inherent in any undertaking of this kind. I think we have all experienced how different two people's interpretation of writing in their native language can be. When you add in translation and editing then the situation gets really complicated.
At the end of the day it somewhat comes down to what you and your opponent think is fair and can agree on.

The split was as clean as the announcement makes it sound. We have a had a great working relationship with FFG and are friends with many people that work there. We are working with them to make transition smooth for distributors and will remain in contact with them for possible future collaboration. FFG has been great to work with and we wish them nothing but good things in the future!

We are out of them right now. We will probably get more. I just don't know when yet.

Lets watch the tone here guys. I am sure we can have a spirited debate without biting on each other all over the place right? Game rules can be a slippery thing, they are more like a conversation than a court case or math problem.
