To be blunt, most of the players in my area have stopped posting because of a few big personalities present on the board and this sort of hoard mentality that has arisen. We don't find it worth the energy to bother.
On topic though, I still feel Jin Pao and Liang Pao need either 2 more life or a couple more base attack to be considered worth taking. I've never lost against the three dragons and I've never won with them. Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal, but that's my opinion nonetheless.
Alius has a push that's automatic with no dice; that's effing insane. I've had it tie up 2 characters over 2 turns by pushing them into walls. Throw an Alius in a narrow opening and no one is getting through their, much less taking actions.
Playtest before you buy. But I'd advise multiple Arias Vayu becaus she's worth it. Al Djinn can be in the right teams from what I can tell (I'm assuming, don't care to try him). Alius and Ahriman are tied for next in my book, with Elhaim being close to last and Ignis being the bottom.
