I think he means if maria is targeting character X...but, lets say, Marchosias kills character X, can she re-declare then, or does she have to deal the killing blow.

Generally it's things like forested areas, shallow water, debris fields, etc. But, ultimately, it's whatever you and your opponent agree is rough terrain, so long as it's mutually agreed upon. Moving uphill is also treated as rough terrain...though as a personal rant, i think that needs to be removed due to inconsistency, but that's just my personal opinion.

I use the paint-on Vallejo stuff too. I've never noticed any significant streaking. And with brush on stuff you can use different varnishes for different effects. Thinks like making hair or a dress satiny, boots or metal shiny and keeping everything else matte. I usually do all that after a couple full coats as well, for basic protection. But I started using brush on stuff after spray failed me with frosting too.

Anima - Tactics / Game Rules / Stealth and charging
|

So, this one came up n a game earlier today, and neither myself or my opponent were sure on this one. When a hidden character charges, but fails due to range or not having a clear line, do they actually lose the hidden status? They never make an attack...so we weren't sure if the act of declaring a charge ultimately un-hides a character or if there had to be an attack attempt. the specifics of this case were a hidden, berserk, Freya being forced to charge at Clover but having an ally character basically completely in the way, so bumping into that instead. That actually brings up a second question, that didn't happen in the above situation, but could have. If your figure is berserk, and forced to charge like that, are you also forced to choose a successful line of charge? I.E. if you have an ally obscuring half of the closest opponent, can you choose to charge through your ally, intentionally bumping into them, or do you have to pick a line of charge that will work? I'd say you could pick the failed line intentionally...berserk makes you charge...it doesn't make you charge well.

Ape2020, Thanks. No, I think your mistaking March's non-leader bonuses for for having 4 Slaughter tokens in reducing special or basic attacks. That effects only "HIS" basic and special attacks. Not other other friendly units. Yeah, my bad. Maclein, no he cannot. Only actions allowed to Berserk chars are Attack or Charge. I wouldn't jump on that answer about arbiters so fast...I'm not sure issuing orders counts as actions (on the part of the arbiter). You can't issue orders _to_ a berserk person that they can't take...but I'm not sure you can't issue orders from a berserk person.

Question: How does Frey and Freaya's ability pack hunters work with overrun? If the second attack kills the target, do they both keep going since it's one activation? If so, do they keep the abilities bonuses?
The pack hunter ability lets them both activate in the same activation (EG one activation for both characters). They don't act simultaneously. You still have to pick one, use them, and complete their sub activation before you move on to the next one. So, rules for charging and all that stand, exactly the same, for them in that instance.

You're not allowed to check if an action is legal until you have paid the AP cost and declared the target (if there is one). Things that make a charge invalid are: -No line of site. For any reason, if there's no line of sight, there's no charge. -Not enough movement. If your movement doesn't get you to the target (because of rough terrain, or just because you misjudged distance). In this case, you move as close to the target, in straight line, as you can. -Vertical jump issues. Either you can't jump high enough (if they are up a vertical surface) or you take damage from falling (if you are jumping down a too-high cliff). In both cases, you end up at the bottom of the vertical plane in question, where your line of charge meets it. -Impassable terrain. This isn't really a thing, in the general rules. Terrain can, usually, be jumped on, over or through. the only way impassable terrain, as it's being called, would stop a charge is if it blocks line of sight. -Intervening models. Most germane to this question is intervening models. Once you declare a charge on someone, you need to check to see that the path is clear, that means a 30, 40 or 50mm wide corridor is available for the character (depending on the base size). If there is terrain in the way, you deal with it as above, somehow, or get stopped. If it's another character, the charge is illegal, and doesn't occure, but the AP is still spent.

This is a bad ruling when we consider summons and the Al'Djinn, too much delayed activation abuse potential.
This is no different or better then the previous way. previously you looked at what was on the board at the start of the turn, and based it on that. This ruling is, in no way, worse then that. It is either equivalent to that (the person summoning waits until the end of the turn, and gets multiple activations) or better for the opponent (the person summoning extra units HAS to wait until the end of the turn to summon the extra units, or give up actions now).

When I looked up Kagemaru's rule it clearly states that basic charges work under the rule. However now that I look at the FAQ doc again this entry is listed under Errata, thus meaning they are changing Kagemaru's rule and it seems that basic charges no longer benefit.
I'll edit the entry.
Boo...that's what made him cool. Now that's a occasionally useable, at best, ability.

Agreed, you aren't even allowed to declare a charge unless there is a clear line of charge. For the other point, I don't think it has ever come up for me, but I don't see why a charge couldn't see multiple interceptions if there is an overrun on the first interception. It's not a free move, so doesn't have the once-per-turn restriction.

Deimon's Attendance ability, to me, was pretty implicitly a once per turn thing...though I may be wrong, that's how I see and would play it. The focus bonus can be used on a charge, as a charge is basically a run + attack with a little bonus peppered in. It's still an attack roll. But it will only count for the one charge you declare it on during Prometheum, not all of them.

Thats a really bad idea, one Djinn can support 2 Ash Slaves and they both can attack in the Same Activation. Thats too much, simultaneous activation is very powerful. If they could activate all at the same time it would say so on the Djinn's card.
I'm not saying that is the rule. I'm saying that, were that the rule , it would fix activation weirdness. And, would probably be worth dealing with the perceived extra power. Which I place at a level lower then waiting to go last, waiting for your opponent to use up all their action, then creating more action from nothing at significant ranges, to exploit things. It's a give and take on power balance, and all give on rules simplification.
