1  Anima - Tactics / Game Rules / Re: Valis' Nux vs Clock of Cronos? on: August 14, 2011, 04:18:42 AM
My gut feel would be that he wouldn't be able to use Dragon Wing Charge.  Costs 5, he has 4.  The clock would only be able to be used once he has below Max AP and he can't do that unless he normal charges, only costing 3, then clocking to go back to 2 for dodges etc.

So the timing should be:
Declare or does math in head for Dragon Wing Charge - Costs 5, only has Max 4 so fails or changes mind to normal charge.
Charge happens.
Clock can be activated.

Is how I would play it and read it.

Welcome to AT.  My wife and I love it and it is now her preferred game.  So far for my assembling I have used GW greenstuff (I already had some so used it) and was using GW glue but a mate got me onto the P3 glue from Privateer.  It has an amazing bond.  That and greenstuff means I have had to pin very little.

That being said the AT models have thin connections sometimes and pinning might be tough.

For pinning I have a dremmel and a large collection of paper clips.

Thats my set up but I'm very amateur when it comes to modifying.  I usually stick to the bases supplied and paint them the standard colours.  I'm sure some of the regulars may be able to add some more insight.

I really like the Lilith model.  I can see some bending will be needed but no more than the MERCS incinerator model that required the fuel hose to be bent around the body.

Just use a hairdryer and time  Wink

Thanks for the reply.  Can't wait to get hold of her.  Proxied her today in a game and was very impressed by her damage output also. Was able to kill Clover twice in 4 turns (Had help from a Janus charge for the 1st kill)

She looks beautiful.  Shibori, is the sword thick enough for normal pinning or is going to be a magic green stuff task?  Basing the thickness to her arms I'm guessing another building moment to send the wife and daughter up stairs  Tongue

Thank you for the quick replys, much appreciated.

Also did not know about the natural 10 on dodge ruling.  Big rule book should arrive this week.

7  Anima - Tactics / Game Rules / Tsubasa Counter Attack Question on: June 14, 2011, 06:15:48 AM
Hi,

New to A:T and love the artwork, minis and rules system.  A MMO player since EQ1 and this is the 1st tabletop game that I have found to get close and I have played most.

Anywhos, back to the question at hand.

I read that the charge bonus from a special attack can be added to the +2 for a charge.  Makes perfect sense.

My question is on Tsubasa Kurokami's Special Counter : Ennetsu Jigoku - If you dodge you get +4atk/+3dam.  Do you still apply -2 from the attack roll for a counterattack?

IE.  -2 counter, +4 atk for a positive 2 result added to die roll/+3dam

Hopefully that rambling made sense and someone can let me know how they have played it.
