1  Anima - Role Playing Game / Modules and Adventures / Re: Tears of Vykyris - Demo Scenario on: January 22, 2012, 01:52:12 PM
It's been a while, but here's the first batch of character sheets as promised.

I want to make clear a few things, this are the character sheets for ACT1, some are low level and others are simply  nerfed, therefore the math on them is broken. The real sheets are the ACT3 ones, so those are the only 100% correct. I did this trying to mimic the system on ToV, where the characters evolve act by act. Another thing I want to point out is that I made this characters using Core Exxet rules, wich means tons of Secondary Abilities bonuses.

Finally there might be some mistakes and weird translations, but I'll be revising all of them when translating the Act 2 sheets and if anything is worng I'll make an update.

Hi, first I want to say thank you, thank you very much.

I'm usually an Anima player, but I wanted to repay the kindness of my GM by allowing him to play a module. The truth is that we've been playing Anima since it was released here in Spain, but in all those years my master hasn't played more than 3 or 4 modules, and I'm probably exagerating the numbers... yeah I know, shame on us selfish players!

So, with this idea on mind I went to the Spanish forums, but I couldn't really find any suitable story. That's when I remembered about the US forums and decided to give it a try, and God, I'm glad I did.

I still have to read the final version, but by reading the playtest I can say your adventure is a master piece. I love how you used the setting of the game and created a story that captures the essence of it.

Most of the modules you see around use the world of Gaļa simply as a place where the events take place. They don't really take into account the setting of the game, focusing only on the story they want to tell, giving the feeling that the story they're telling and the world where it takes place were forcibly put together, even becoming an obstacle in some cases.

That's why I love how you blended the history of Gaļa in your wonderfull tale, a trully exceptional module.

I could keep on forever, but I have to start reading the final version and work on the characters. Since we're experienced player I'll be using the official rules instead of your version, thus I'll have to do a lot of work and testing (it's trycky to balance the enemies).

I wouldn't mind doing everything in English and then upload it here, since you asked for assistance, the problem is that I'll be using all the books published in Spain for this, witch may differ from the ones published in English. I don't know what has been published here and what's not, so I don't know how helpfull would it be if you have to rework all of the sheets.

*phew* It ended up being a nice wall of text, well, thank you again, and please excuse my mistakes, grammmar is not my thing. I will keep an eye to this forum waiting for news (after all I spend some time doing a fancy avatar witch should be bigger btw...)
