LOL, why would u ever take the Type-005 over a Type-009. Its just not worth it. And its actually worth making the Type-009 an Elite. Being able to dodge + use Nucleus makes the type-009 very useful. It doesn't need a strong attack when it can focus on Paralyzing enemies.
Do people really think 25 pt 6 Attack 6 Damage with a 12 inch ranged attack are really that bad?

Yikes!
I was floored when I saw it, but I am sure it is a typo. Has anyone seen the new style Dark Chesire Card that comes in the most recent Dark Starter cards? Here is the Skinny:
Dark Chesire Dark Samael Warrior - Lv. 50 At 5 | Dm 5 | Df 9 | Ar 1 | LP: 15 | Re 10 | Mo 8/12 | AP 3/4
oo - Excisun Aeris (Ki, Ranged Attack) Ranged Attack (12 inch). +2 Attack / +2 Damage
ooo - Summun (Ki, Attack) +4 Attack / +4 Damage.
You read that right, Excisum Aeris for 2 AP. Again I am sure this is a misprint and have told that new player to go by the stats of the book.
Sorry if this was already brought up.

All these new units for Black Sun is cool....
But what about Characters? Sure they get the Type 005, Raziels and Hunters, but what of their named warriors? So far all they have are Promethea, Arkham, Clover (Maybe Bridget) and Kingsley.
That's only 4 (5) named characters Black Sun gets! I dunno, Anima is a character driven game for me, so to see a bunch of nobodies running around for Black Sun kinda hurts.
But then again, Zombies ARE hella awesome.
As a counterpoint, in a game where ALL the teams are represented by 99% characters, isn't a team of "nobodies"/line troops unique in and of itself? Making them zombies just makes it completely story driven.....and awesome. I have always wanted at least one organization be troop based. My idea was basing a group based around the true evil of the Anima world (ex. How about Omega controlling all the wild monsters around the world?) so I hope the Black Sun stay heavily troop/zombie based.

"All" implies your making 1 free attack that effects every enemy in range.
"Each" implies your making a separate free attack for every enemy in range.
Thats a big difference and sounds like a big typo on the Spanish card.
...why do you assume it's the spanish card with a typo and not the english card? Because AS has explain this already. It wouldn't make sense for him to clarify the English text if it were at typo. FYI, unless I missed a previous post in another thread, the explanation from AS does not support the ruling either way, as the explanation was more of a general rule clarification and not a specific ruling of the text on Romeo.

Ah, there's some precident...that's mostly what I was looking for. Too bad though, that would have been a fun way to mess with the battlefield. XD
If you want to mess with the battlefield... one of our newer players starting using Reinhold to move terrain on our perfectly set battlefields at the last tourney >_< It's pretty entertaining. Moving impassable terrain over nodes is pretty awesome as well. Considering I was running the tournament, I don't think I would use the word entertaining...... However, if I WASN'T running the tournament, I could see the smiles.

The best example of a Wanderer Leader, if you do not mind me borrowing from other gaming fiction, would be Toturi from Legend of the Five Rings. A Ronin, he was not only able to unite all of the Ronin into a large fighting force, he eventually united all the existing clans (almost all anyway) against a great evil. Yes, that is a generalization of the storyline but the point stands.
They do not have to always be a great hero. I would LOVE to see either Omega or the "embodiment of Omega" as a leader of all the monsters/summons/undead. Basically the monsterous hordes that are so feared throughout all the lands. C'mon, SOMEONE has to be the bad guy right?

as for wanderer leaders. In every game i've played with characters like wanderers, i've known at least one person who only wants to use them and not a "normal" faction. I think it's silly, but if others don't then whatever. It doesn't hurt me. A wanderer leader could be as simple as static text that makes wanderers cheaper, or allowing light and dark neutrals, etc.
I have no clue who you could be referring to..... FYI in case there is misinterpretation, I also know Neko IRL...

I have run the Anima tournament at Project A-Kon 2 years in a row, here in Texas. (Cheap plug: Look for my tournament report later this week for the 2010 A-Kon tournament) I also helped run Demos 3 years ago, so big thanks to Joel from Cypher Studios for coming to A-Kon and all the hard work. I would say that Anima has been a big hit at A-Kon, with the past 2 years bring huge sales. Hope to hear that this year's was just a successful.

Hello all.
I know this is INCREDIBLY last minute, but it has decided that the tournament at A-kon 21 will be at 2PM Saturday. For those who haven't yet decided to come, feel free to paly in the tournament as it will be free and for the Dragon Blood Tournament Advantage card. The tournament will be held on the second floor of the Westin Hotel, right about the food court. Just search for the A-Kon gaming signs. Here is the official info layout:

My one question about the new expansion:
Do you need to discard ALL of the missions from the first 2 expansions and only use the the Twilight of the Gods missions?
I hope not, but I think this is the biggest weakness of expanding the card game. I wish there was a way for them to reprint the older missions to take into account ALL three expansions. I think having all three missions in the mix would be one step in making the game less stale.
