He looks amazing.  The officially painted one showed up and was put in the display case today.  Its so amazing to see it up close (well, naturally there's a foot or so between the glass and him, but you get the idea). 

The model is extremely detailed, but, the details are all really big so they'll be easy to paint.  He does have a lot of parts to put together.  Legs and waist form one piece, torso and head form another, each arm is a piece, the belt is two pieces, and each flag post is a piece. 

However, since the gluing surfaces are far more broad I think it'll bond a lot better.

Also, he doesn't come in a blister.  He just wouldn't fit.  He's actually in a ribbon box like the starters.  The cover of it is the Saga II logo (Saga II is called Rise).  The light side Azur Alliance leader in the shiny armor is on one cover and the two winged people on the last page of the starter set rulebook are on the back.
