Nature's Wrath is HUGE.
My only complaint about Lynn's model is they didn't seem to try to hard with her hair.
Church Agent is great, could have been a character. My only beef with it is the immense size upgrade to the sword. Compare it to the artwork right behind her.

Nature's Wrath is HUGE. Indeed. There are some 360° picture of the Nature's Wrath, Lynn, Church Agent and Valentine on Angel Giraldez's blog, in case you didn't already know.

I guess this proves the great quality of most minis, but I don't like Lynn. At all. The model's fugly, for chrissakes! Of course, this is bound to happen once in a while, but what a disappointment for Black Sun fans... and a Leader, to boot. She's the most lackluster Leader in the game, even Kagemaru has more presence!

I don't like the face on that mini much, but I'm hoping it's just the slightly overdone makeup on that paintjob. Hopefully the face sculpt is OK by itself, and it will look different when painted differently.
I don't mind the rest of the sculpt.

Lynn's model have quite a wide hips, compared both to her illustration and to the rest of AT minis. She is more like warhammer mini with her current proportions. Fitness for her (and file and long work for the player).
Upd: Same goes for Valis. Disturbing tendency for previously noted for their slim stature AT minis.

It's a little hard to tell what's going on with the mouth and hair in this picture, but it's close enough, as far as I'm concerned.
I think they're both excellent models. I've seen other miniature sculptors work compared to the concept art, and these are very close. The Lynn model has hips like a woman, instead of like a 12-year old boy in the 2D art. I love Wen M's art, but if a sculptor wants to take a little bit of creative license and create a little variance in body types among the ladies of Gaia, then I'm good with it.
Valis is noticably wider than the 2D art, which stands out a bit as an "elf", but I still like it.

I've seen enough women with "12-year old boy" hips, many of them are at my fitness club. a sculptor wants to take a little bit of creative license and create a little variance in body types among the ladies of Gaia, then I'm good with it. Juan Navarro Perez is a great sculptor, but compared to his earlier works it looks more like his was in hurry than a not-so-little bit of a creative license. Also I have prejudice that over-wide "womanly" (in fact more like sprinter sportswoman) hips on most of minis are just because it's simply easier to make them this way rather to make fine detail. Also I heard rumours of Confrontation minis while being slim are also being too fragile. But that is matter of my own personal taste.

I've seen enough women with "12-year old boy" hips, many of them are at my fitness club. Mine too. If you drop enough body fat, your hips go away. So do your boobs, and you can stop menstruating too. This isn't uncommon for female atheletes. Of course, I don't think the anima sculptors want to stop sculpting large breasts on their minis. The narrow-hipped, ultra-thin with large breasts body type exists in real life, but is rare. Of course, this is a fantasy world, where everyone looks exactly how we want them too. I never really meant to start a debate over how realistic the female proportions are. I only meant to make the point that the occasional model with wider hips, etc. didn't really bother me. I suspect that it's not so much "easier to sculpt" wider hips on a mini than it is easier to make it more recognizable as female. The same goes for breasts. If you look at some of the really old-school minis and that's what you'll see. I've been very impresssed with the level of detail Juan Navarro Perez has been able to put into his minis. He can make a narrow-hipped, fully-clothed female still look very much like a female. Maybe in the case of Lynn, however, if it had been much narrower, it would have looked more boyish. Maybe he tried it that way, and went with the wider hips for that very reason. I don't know. Does he ever comment here or anywhere on the web?

If you drop enough body fat, your hips go away. So do your boobs, and you can stop menstruating too. Boobs go away first, then hips. To stop menstruating well, as far as I know the reason is not in the amount of body fat. The narrow-hipped, ultra-thin with large breasts body type exists in real life, but is rare. To be honest, many anima minis are quite "flat-chested" by anime standards. And I prefer them to stay this way. Does he ever comment here or anywhere on the web? Dunno. I suppose that there is some chance that he visit Spanish forum.
