Kingsley reminds me of Samuel "Fu**in'" Jackson Cheesy But both, models and paintjobs are amazing.

Marchosias is simply awesome, but Kingsley... it is not a bad miniature, but, what happens with its head?

Kingsley reminds me of a character in a Terry Pratchett novel called "Mr. Pin"

It could be the angle or the paintjob but his head looks just way too big for the rest of his body. The mini generally doesn't catch the feeling of the artwork.

Marchosias has a similar problem, I think. It could be the angle again, but the hair of the miniature looks more standard and boring. The artwork also has this underlying, unknown threat because you can't see his face.
I'll try how it looks like if I put the mini with its front against a wall on the base or something  Grin

The paintjob looks great and I'll still get Marchosias sometime, but both minis just aren't what I hoped they would be.

I dunno, but perhaps you weren't realistic in your expectations? I mean, you can't make a mini that's always giving you its back...
