I think the disproportionate look was probably intentional. It gives it more of a Frankenstein's monster feel. It's supposed to be monstrous and off putting...so if you're off put by it's monstrousnes then it's doing it's job. Tongue

They are probably not off put in the way they expected, if that makes sense.

Most likely, they wanted to be "off put" by the NK-X's ferocity and shocking nature, but they felt as though the NK-X were offputting by its clumsy and disproportionate appearance.

I have no negative opinions. It looks fine to me; the spikes shooting out of the NK-X's back look especially intimidating and belligerent on the NK-X's part.

I agree, the Nk-X is not a very good sculpt. Its proportions are all wrong, especially the head - it's frigging huge! I'm also not thrilled about how his right arm looks; I hope the box contains a second Raxxor. All in all this thing doesn't hold a candle to Archetypum. Anyone know who the sculptor is?

Also - Yannick is not doing Theurgia? That's... unfortunate.

It's not a human. It doesn't have human proportions. It's a stitched together bioweapon. I can't understand the complaint there. Also, can we really complain about proportions with the way the waist/bust of female Anima characters look?

I think it is appropriately hulking and menacing - Not to the degree of Ligori, who I think is one of the best sculpts/paints I've seen (in person), but still.

I rather enjoy the sculpt. The huge, lumbering mass of undead monstrosity that is the NK-X is nicely captured in this.
Not to mention, I totally dig the floating spikes.

I like a lot the chains from the back, i think the only thing i dont like, is the size of the head/helmet, then again, i think the guy had a really hard time trying to translate all the details i had in my design for the head @__@

Now that you mention it, it's true... the detail on the head is a little lackluster.

Woah!  Shocked Final paint job on that beastie is not only fantastic, it makes the Hunter look down right intimidating.

First thing I thought of when I saw that Hunter was a Hollow from Bleach.  Anybody else agree?

HAHAHAHAHAHA. If only it has a hole on its heart...

Gorgeus paint job. And fantastic model; at last we have a sculptor of Navarro`s level (I think Hunter`s sculptor is the same as Hecatondies, isn`t him?)

I wouldn't say that. In my opinion two very different kind of sculptors. Perhaps you didn't notice it but I would swear that Hunter and Hecatondies Sigma Zero are 3D computer sculpted models.

About the resulting Deimon sculpt, isn't he one of Harry Potter's characters?

It wouldn't surprise me if both were resin instead of pewter.
