Nothing wrong with a bit of dork. All the truly cool people can let their inner dork out whenever they want. Thanks for the recipe, as well. It sounds very interesting.

Np, I'm all about doing experimental things in the kitchen. I like to forge my own recipes. Well, it is time to make the big phone call.../nervous...

Thai Quesadilla: Flour tortillas Mixed cheeses Chicken or steak strips Thai peanut sauce (I believe the brand name I use is Bangkok Padang Sauce) Salsa and sour cream to the side
Pan fry the meat in the peanut sauce (the flavor is so good!) and set it to the side. Assemble the meat with some cheese between tortillas and then pan fry until the tortillas are slightly browned. Cut them up to finger food sized strips and have salsa or sour cream to dip or spread.
Watching me cook can be amusing some times. I like to have some music to rock out to. I'll often sing and dance while I'm cooking, hehe. I'm rocking out to Journey right now, lol.
"Any way you want it, that's the way you need it. Anyway you want it..."
I'm such a dork at times, hehe.
Maybe try a meat substitute, or perhaps vegan refried beans- the ones where they don't use lard?

That's a good idea. If by any chance she ever gives a damn about me I'll have to relearn how to do a lot of recipes.
She didn't answer the phone nor did she respond to the message I left. Crap...

Perhaps she's genuinely busy, or maybe she's anemic from a lack of iron in her diet, and passed out for a while? I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if it's eating at you (pun intended), feel free to drop me a line. I rarely sleep, unless it's in class. >_>

Bwahahahahahahaha, that's about the funniest thing I've heard in a long time. Thanks, Ten.

Its too early to tell. I'm not very good at this "interacting with women" thing. I said something that made her kind of blush on Thursday. I think that's good...I hope that's good.

A blush is always good, but don't push it. If you want to make some more vegi meals try a sandwich with lots of vegetables, Falafel and a hot sauce, it's really easy and tastes dilicious. Falafel is some kind of mashed "frogbeans" ( it's translated directly from my language), you then make some nice balls with it and fry them.
Good luck

Falafel is a fava bean mash, and if you do it right, it's amazing with warm flatbread.

When you translate the dutch 'kikkererwten' you'll find 'frog beans' indeed, but the right translation is 'chick peas' But it tastes good indeed, I usually add a lot of spices to the mashed chick pea mixture (coriandre, cumin, cayenne pepper and tahini (sesame seed paste)). Then add an egg for binding. Make small balls (or tiny burgers), roll them in flour and fry in a pan. Put some salad, tomato, cucumbre on a pita bread, stuff in the falafel and you'll have a fairly healthy vegetarian meal You can even make a fresh yoghurt based sauce with a little mint or something and drizzle it on top. Please note: you can't eat this properly with a knife and fork

Exactly what Bren said - I'd also add sliced olives (black personally), a tiny bit of pesto or fresh basil to complement the tomatoes in the salad and some paprika. As Bren warned though, this is not a meal with which to break the ice - it is a meal that you eat with folks you're totally comfortable with, who you don't mind seeing you with copious amounts of food smeared all over your face, hands, and running down your arms.... Happy, friendly food! Good luck to yourself too with the lady!

Okay man - it's been weeks, plus chances for holiday parties and cold weather get-togethers. You've got to tell us how things are going with Miss Right!
