I made a lasagna for an office pitch in. It smells soooooooooo good. Its so hard not to just eat it all and not bring it to work. I'm currently doing anything to distract myself (hence I'm typing this). I wish I didn't have the willpower to resist. Its going to smell so good on the car ride to work. Damn...

Be careful. Knowing the French forumites, they'll be tormenting you with this for a while. All I can say is... take a cold shower?

I was so glad it turned out so well. One of my coworkers really indulged into it. It made me happy because I made an edit to the lasagna for her. She's a vegetarian so I decided not to put the chicken in like I usually would. When I told her about it she got excited and ate like 1/4 of it. *edit* Since I live in Indy if anyone goes to GenCon and asks really nicely I might have to make it for them

I've never been to GenCon, and I can get started on the begging /really/ early. >_>

Hehe, I just like cooking for people. Maybe I'll have to make my Thai Quesadillas next time. I'll probably end up making the lasagna again next month for the office Christmas party. I'd like to make some more things but its kind of hard for me to rethink how to make stuff for a vegetarian. It seems she appreciated it a lot more than I had initially thought. If all goes well she may be joining me for dinner tonight before the lighting of the "big tree" downtown. The "big tree" is the memorial in the middle of the city. They string up a bunch of lights on it so it looks like a Christmas tree. She mentioned she was going to see it by herself so I'm going to call and offer some company tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Thai Quesadillas? Sounds very interesting. Can you give hints about what you put in them? Best of luck with your lady friend, by the way.

Thai Quesadilla: Flour tortillas Mixed cheeses Chicken or steak strips Thai peanut sauce (I believe the brand name I use is Bangkok Padang Sauce) Salsa and sour cream to the side
Pan fry the meat in the peanut sauce (the flavor is so good!) and set it to the side. Assemble the meat with some cheese between tortillas and then pan fry until the tortillas are slightly browned. Cut them up to finger food sized strips and have salsa or sour cream to dip or spread.
Watching me cook can be amusing some times. I like to have some music to rock out to. I'll often sing and dance while I'm cooking, hehe. I'm rocking out to Journey right now, lol.
"Any way you want it, that's the way you need it. Anyway you want it..."
I'm such a dork at times, hehe.
