Hey everyone!

I was just curious what brand of paint people out there use to paint their mini's.  I currently use paint that I have left from my 40K and Warhammer Fantasy days and I didn't know if there was a better brand out there or not.  Lemme know what you guys think.

I use the full line by Privateer Press, P3. It's got good coverage on almost all colors even over black primer.

Metallics from the earlier runs have been known to have problems. I'm not sure about some of the later runs.

I think most painters stick with what they know. I was playing WarMachine when the paints came out so I stocked up and its become what I've got.

I wouldn't replace what you've got unless you're not happy with it.

I also use the GW paint from my warhammer days, but in addition I use some Tamiya colours for metal and blood. The new washes from GW are a blessing.

I use Citadel and Vallejo. Even tried to mix both- there's no problem when you mix them.

I use a range, but mostly Reaper's ProPaint line.  Great coverage, and an excellent palette.

I've worked with GW and Vallejo through the years, as well as several that are gone, now.  I've toyed with Reaper's Master Series, but don't like dropper bottles.

GW and Vallejo have both given me issues due to local climate (desert), and haven't been worth the extra cost compared to Reaper (Reaper is priced the same, but has about 50% more in each bottle).

I used GW paints for years, with no drama's, but now use Derivan MiNiS paint range, they are damn fine. My AA are done with them, and pics will be uploaded shortly...

I still have some GW paint that I use.  Why let it go to waste?  However, I've mostly been using P3.

I agree with the earlier statement "Paint with what you know."

I do the bulk of my painting with Americana Acrylics.  I use GW for their washes, metallics and flesh tones.

Nercopostdid Tongue

I am using Reaper Master Series. I like the dropper bottles and the little pewter skull inside the bottle that mix the paint when you shake the bottle. They come in a ton of colors too.
