Hi, does anyone know of a good supplier, or other source, for making good looking jungle terrain?  I want to base some minis on something tropical looking but the closest I can find is the fake floral section of Michaels or Joann's craft stores and they all look huge and plasticky.  I'm trying to get something like this:

try googling "hasslefree miniatures" in the uk as they have a good selection of brass etched plants and ferns.(a bit expencive)
i think that that would be your best bet, or you could try aquarium shops for fish tank plants.

Look into train modelling, the company "Busch" is distributing a set for H0 (1:87) "Pilze und Farne" (Mushrooms and farns) or otherway round which works great. I used it on my Woodelves and I believe I tried it on Justina but ripped it off because it didn't work with her otherwise appearence.
Or:
Plastic plants for fishies. Aquarium stuff, you know.

Is it for a few bases only or for more? If it is for only a few I'd consider making the plants yourself from paper and tiny scissors or a sharp hobby knife. I have the 'ferns' from Busch and I've used them in the past, but they look too unrealistic for me now. I also have found some plastic aquarium plants, I used them on Kujakus base. All I know it's very difficult to find the perfect stuff or to make it yourself...

Hey thanks everyone for your good suggestions.

Busch looks awesome, I'll look into that, and aquarium supplies. Hasslefree has some very very neat stuff! - but you are right that it's on the pricier side, and I can't afford it right now.

Bren - it will be for 11+ models, so... probably not doable to make it all by hand.  You know I was probably going to, until you asked me that question and I actually counted them, haha

That's terrific!  I like it.  I'm going to post the bit about mushrooms on Melon's thread too if you don't mind.
