Hello Everyone,

We are in the midst of the launch of the Anima: Tactics world wide launch and I can't tell you how excited we are to introduce this game to the world.  It is the culmination of over a year and a half of work on the part of Cipher Studios in developing the miniatures game and years more on the part of Anima Studios to develop the world of Anima.  We have all worked very hard to develop excellent game play, background, art, and sculpture that brings high anime fantasy to the miniature gaming world.  We hope you enjoy playing and collecting the game as much as we do creating it.

The launch of the game has been extremely successful, to the point of stretching our resources to the limit.  Demand has been higher then expected and we are now in the process of increasing our production capacity to meet this demand.  Please bear with us over the next month as we fill the hobby channels.  If you DO have trouble getting the product please let us know when and where and we will do whatever we can to make sure product gets where it needs to go!

We are very eager to engage our new and growing community.  We look forward to talking to you on these boards and if you would like to contact us in a less public manner please feel free to send a message through the boards to any of the staff or you can email me directly at knesbit@edgeent.com.

Welcome to the Anima: Tactics community!

Warmest Greetings,
Kai Nesbit
CEO
Cipher Studios, LLC
Maker of the Anima: Tactics skirmish miniature game.

I have a quick question: Does Cipher Studious have their own website? I googled it but couldn't find anything and that makes me sad.

Not at this moment.  One is in the works but it has taken a back seat to the Anima: Tactics launch.

Congratulations to all participants with the final release of Anima: Tactics Smiley

About getting the products, in Holland there is currently not one dealer of the miniatures range, I have found several in Germany and some more and further away. Any plans to get a distributor in Holland on short notice?

We are looking at getting distribution in Holland and many other european territories that would like English product.  Right now the only English distributor on that side of the pond is Esdevium in the UK.  We are talking to a distributor in Scandinavia as well and should have distribution there soon.  The best thing to do if you would like to speed up the process of getting distribution in your territory wouuld be to ask the local distributor to carry it.  We have been sending out solicitations to all known worldwide distributors but sometimes it takes a bit of demand in their territory before they're willing to take a stock risk of a new product.  Rest assured we will continue to expand distribution worldwide as much as possible.

One here is already busy to carry the products, just the more the better for this game, there are some shops that wouldn't waht it, not much guarantee that it will hit the local gaming groups, but there are some shops I shall try to convince them.

I have heard about eternalwar selling it end of next week, be sure to pre-order at there website cause it may be too late. I have already ordered mine Grin
If you live in Holland ( so do I) you should check out www.gwhobby.net there in the forums is a thread with about a dozen likeminded people about this new game, maybe we can have a little competition on ducosim in the future.

I'm psyched that I already have both starters, got them just earlier today. I'm astonished that the actual figures have such good detail, and hardly any mold lines. I am also pleased with the assembly of them, but the girl with the scythe is one doozie of a figure, I actually left out the thing in the back with all the claws, I figured it would be too hard to transport even if I managed to get it on. but overall great figures, and the system runs very smooth. I did find that the dark starter had a sleight upper hand over the light, but you can't make it perfectly balanced all the time, it would be no fun that way (a challange as it would be) also, the packaging was very flashy, and I was pleased with the price tag. the rulebook seems very clear-cut, and I admire the use of plotting as a game mechanic. its got great potencial.

Okay so many of possibilities of getting Anima Tactis eg. in Poland is to find a distribiutor which would like to distribute it for You, yes? So question is if somebody agreed to become distributor of AT have a plan of helping in giving promos or making small competitions sponsored by You? And what about if some importer would be interested in importing it to one of countries? Would You also co-operate with somebody like them?
