That team isn't bad, but if your going for Neokinesis Magnus, another team to attempt would be:

Org Adv: Manipulation

XII (60)
Rayne (45)
Lorenzo (50)
Celia (50)
Dereck (55)
Sophia (25)

Plot:
Neokinesis Magnus
Team Card: Assault Team

and use the extra points for your more expensive Advantage Cards.

Alternatively, you could just swap Coredlia with Rayne if you want to keep Goethia.

An attempt to team, with Manipulation:

Org Adv: Manipulation

XII (60)         ---> (Elemental Weapon or Ultimate Weapon)
Cordelia (45)    ---> (Fate Clock or nothing)
Goethia (65) (Frederick Mausser)
Celia (45)       ---> (Ultimate Weapon or Piercing Weapon)
Dereck (55)      ---> (Ultimate Weapon)
Sophia (25)

Plot: Neokinesis Magnus

You seem to have fallen in love with Ultimate Weapon. First off it is a waste on Dereck as he has a better special in Seals of the Dragon.  I mention that because with Haste you can get off a big attack Neo Genesis, which you can't do with UW.  Better to give him Supernatural Weapon if you must so you don't waste AP that should go toward his very good innate skills.  It is also questionable on Celia who mainly is a defensive character and only has a max AP of 4.  I tend to avoid putting UW on units that are 4 AP max since that usually leave no AP to dodge after one of thier special attacks or in case of Celia one special dodge and she won't even have a enough to activate UW and a basic attack.

My idea was that with UM, haste and 5 AP, Dereck could be a charge (12 inches and two dice) 12/7, instead an attack (8 inches and one dice) 10/9.
The damage, in both attack (if you hit the opponent) are the same, but with 12/7 i have more chances to hit.

About Celia... yes, actually is better another card  Roll Eyes

OT

Two question (i'm newbe^^)... when i use a special charge (like Kairos Dark Valestis), my character gets another +2 ATK besides the bonus from special ability ? (Kairos gets +4 ATK or +6 ATK ?)
And when special ability is a dodge (like Celia Mirror Stance), i must also roll a dice ? (Celia get +5 DEF and +"roll dice" DEF ?)
Thanks  Smiley

All Special Ability versions of an attack perform the standard action with the bonuses applied to them.

So a Special Charge will receive an additional +2 to Attack along with any other bonus listed, Claire's Charge for example is a 9 Attack/9 Damage + Throw +2d10. Kairos' charge has +4 damage fyi, so its a 7/8 Attack.

Special Dodge Abilities work the same way, so Celia has a 15 Defense + 1d10, becoming nearly impossible to hit.

Also note, that any penalties apply as well, so Ranged Attacks also suffer penalties for long range, and/or shooting into close combat. While counter attacks suffer a -2 to Attack, unless you roll a 10 on the Dodge roll.

If you're worried about running out of AP due to UW, Protective Shield can take care of that if you're willing to sink a lot of points in one character.  One of the local Wissen players does this with Twelve and frequently pops off two 10/6 shots a turn with him...  Undecided

You have one Wanderer slot each 250 points in the game, and Manipulation adds 1.
So when you play in 200 points and choose Manipulation, you only have 1 wanderer slot. You would need at least 250 points to use Takanosuke, Kujaku and the 3 dragons.

Actually its every 200 levels of game play and that might only mean you don't get another until 400 levels, not barring wanderers from sub-200 level games.  They don't say they are barred from Alpha or Beta games like they do with Leaders.

So Maclein, since its not breaking any rules then its legal, if not cheesy fluff wise.  Still maybe Wiss doesn't see the mission as worthy to send out their true agents but just hire a bunch of mercenaries.

Yes, it is legal, but it doesn't have a real benefit.

With the characters in the example, you could just as well make a Neutral/Light team...

Actually no he couldn't in a Beta game.  That combo in a Neutral/Light team would cost him 220 levels in character levels.  In this Wiss team it only cost him 200 with 20 lvls of discount for the Wiss Org Adv: Manipulation.

Ape is truth. I and my friends play Betha-level game without Liders but at Org.Adv's and 2 Gnosis point (Betha rules).
Example, Azur with O.A.: Lords of Shadows at 200 lvl. have in game up 5 characters. Process Wissen - very power O.A. and e.t.c...
Non-Org. paty basic at Wanderers very weakness without Advantedge options...
But, these Wissen's O.A.(Manipulations) give me option choose 5 minis Wanderers for Betha-level!))
