Ooops, yeah. ^^;; Most everything has a right-click menu with different options, from changing its facing, to free rotation, to clone and delete to other things. Smiley Each option should also show the keyboard shortcuts. ^_^

Case in point: To rotate the rulers to the right, just use the Right Arrow Key. ^_^

Thanks for pointing it out, SteCu. I'll add that to my list of pictures/instructions for the better tutorial. ^_^

I'd love to get a game in sometime this week if you have the time. ^_^ Same goes for anyone else interested, just let me know and if I can be on and (relatively) undistracted, I'll be there. ^_^

I'm already working on (read: planning) on the next update to it which should have:
 * Splash screen! Rather than the normal Vassal one when you load up the module.
 * The ability to turn the Character portraits sideways on the Character Cards for Activated/Unactivated.
 * Graphics for the interface buttons.
 * More characters as they're uploaded to the Oracle. ^_^

It'll probably be a little while until I get the next update finished since I sorta kinda let my writing and painting work slack off while trying to get the module ready.

Yay! You're definitely welcome to hop on and play, XII. ^_^ and like I said, I'll be available during the week (probably after tuesday).


Oooh, and I got an answer from the guy who does the Warmachine/Hordes module, so next update I'll be able to make the Models palette and other windows open up to proper sizes, rather than all scrunched up.

I haven't played AT in forever since there's no market for it around where I live, but I'd be happy to play some on Vassal. Smiley

Also, is there any particular reason you're waiting for Oracle uploads to modify the characters? Just curious. Smiley

You're welcome to play, Swordwraith. ^_^ That's part of why I made it after all!

As to the Oracle question (bear with me, I just woke up), mostly for three reasons:
1) It keeps me from bothering poor Cathar with an update every few days whenever I tweak a few things.
2) It's a quick source for the character stats, for people that don't have a particular card and don't scour the forum for information.
3) It's a quick source for the character images, which I need to make the card and model graphics. ^_^;;

I may end up changing that, it's just a bit easier to do things this way at the moment. ^_^

Well, I free to test out this vassal mod out today and this weekend. I'm EST so just post here if anyone what to try this out. I've used vassal before so it should be easy.

Well, every type of gaming goes slower in an online form. RPGs, miniatures, etc.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to play a bit today myself. Smiley

Having done a couple of games with XII and a few demos for friends.. There's quite a bit that needs to be changed, which I'm working on (slowly, I'll admit).

One change I'm planning is the character cards and State tokens. I plan on moving them onto the card itself that way people can just right click (or use keyboard commands) to increase/decrease States.

Here's a preview!


The black box at the upper-right is going to be for an "Activated/Unactivated" symbol, though I haven't seen anyone get confused on who they've used in a turn yet - on Vassal at least - I figure it might be best to get that taken care of. Smiley

The first white box will be for the Action Points icon, and as soon as I can get Gimp working properly again, I'll actually make it.

The second white box will be for any special counters (like Konosuke's Power counters). If the character doesn't have them, then it'll be the same colour as the background of the Card.

I'm not entirely sure on it though. It looks too cluttered/compact, but I worry about making it any bigger and making it difficult to get a full 300 vs 300 team on the Characters Window.

and yes, next update I'll be adding everyone who's had their Stats posted on the forum or the Oracle, so long as I can find pictures. ^_^ So you'll be able to use Morrigan, Legacy, Frey and Freya, etc.

There are other plans in the works as well. Including circular rulers for Control Zones and AoE attacks.

annnnnd.... I'm working on a pdf instruction book. ^_^
