Are they good together?
Is adding his Orichi Seal to Takanosuke good for using with Konosuke?
Would adding Kujaku Hime (+team card) be good?

All assume using a Samael Team.

Side note: Anyone find it funny that story wise, these characters will never work together but rules allow it under a Samael(/Dark without the girl) team?

Kujaku and Takanosuke are excellent for a Samael team and are the best wanderers you can pick from. Takanosuke a little less so now that Momiji is out as she is the better killer.

They both have ranged attacks and so that goes well in a Samael team.

Kujaku is anti-armor and that is a wonderful niche that Samael doesn't have right now. If you team her with Aoi then you don't need Serum for her either. The states Aoi can give her make her sturdier in melee combat as well.

Having a stealthed prowler in your team is great for handling the enemy team's prowlers and assassinating units. His AOE slow is good for groups that like to bunch up (Empire & Church). My favorite of all though is easily his Kage Combo and Guardian abilities. Kage Combo in my experience usually results in a kill if you get it off

Friday I had an opponent attack me with Takanosuke then Guardian to Kujaku to have her attack the same character twice on her next activation. Mean stuff. Kujaku is one of the best level 50s IMO (she breaks several rules of the game as a guy I know likes to put it; terrain, armor, etc.). I think they'd be a good addition.

Kujaku is good for 50 points, if you her immunity to poison (the advantage card is called serum).

Konosuke is great for Samael as tank and melee fighter. But only ebcause Samael doesn't have better melee fighters. Don't understand me wrong. He is good. But I would not play him in a dark faction, because there are better choices, that do the same job.

Takanosuke is not that useful any more. He is a neutral assasin + wanderer, so everyone can take him. But he is only useful for armies, that don't have good stealthed characters. For example church and empire don't have that sneaky assasins (ok, empire has 1, but he is even worse outside of the team with Janus and Daniella). They like Takanosuke, because he offers something the army normally doesn't have.
But with Momiki Samael has one of the best stealthed assasins in the game. There is no reason to take Takanosuke in my opinion.

Instead I prefer Bella and Aqua and / or Derreck for Samael. An other wanderer I always love is Sophia for only 35 she offers a lot.

Well, story wise there could be any number of reasons certain people will team up:

As an example:
Takanosuke is actually the younger brother of Konosuke (before he became what he is) and they were part of the same Clan. So you could say that Takanosuke and Kujaku Hime are part of Konosuke's team to help bring his spirit peace, or find a way to purify his soul.

Takanosuke is actually a member of the clan that Konosuke (before he became what he is) was the Leader of. So you could say that Takanosuke and Kujaku Hime are part of Konosuke's team to help bring his spirit peace, or find a way to purify his soul.

Well I'm no story expert, but Konosuke's bio says he dislikes the Asakura clan. The clan was in-part, the reason of his current state. He was forced by the clan to go on a suicidal mission, and in his last moments, his blood mixed with the soul filled ground. He was offered a way out and the Half-one we all know was born.

I just can't see why he just wouldn't shop off their heads, let alone work with his ex-clan members...

He may dislike his clan, but that doesn't mean he is instantly hostile towards them. After all, Kairos dislikes himself and he hasn't jumped off a cliff yet, and Bael hates Kairos, but will still work alongside him.

He died defending his allies after all, buying them time to escape. Also, Takanosuke is his brother, and he would have no real reason to hate him as far as we know.

Not to mention, if all else fails, Konosuke could be forced too cooperate by any member of the Fallen Angels, or Morrigan.

Heck, if its Ophiel he could even be telling Konosuke: "Take advantage of them, then dispose of them when they have outlived their usefulness."

It could be added that Kujaku and Takanosuke are both runaways from the clan and wanted for dishonoring it. So by helping them he helps harm his clan and promotes renegades like his brother.
