Yeah, I'm good.

Well the date set for my campaign to start may be pushed back a bit due to some technical difficulties I'm having. I cannot get the internet to recognize my computer when starting a server and I checked its not my firewall. Any suggestions or solutions would be great otherwise my hard work would be all for naught.

Short-term solution: Hamachi or ask someone to host the server (if maptools). You can also try using OpenRPG as an alternative. http://www.rpgtonight.com/index.php also works (not the best, but better than nothing).

Getting the port forwarding done seems to be the biggest pain recently. We all will figure out how to get Maptools to run correctly one of these days.

And as a General call out I offer my service on setting up the port forwarding if any one needs the assistance (Note: the reason I have that problem is I don't have control over my router Cry )

BTW. July 20th is a TUESDAY? I work weekdays. I would never make it at all anyway! I'm doomed! Unless, the game is full, then my opinion really must not matter anyway. Lol. If so, please don't bother. Cheesy

Hoping that the campaign will be on a weekend instead of weekday (despite I can make them, though sooner or later, college is coming).

Huh, so I'm not the only one who thinks hosting a game on week day(and beginning of th afternoon) is a mistake of an idea. Imagine that.

Though for some good news, on Mon and Weds, I do have a period of time after 12:30 PM PST where I'm stuck in school with wireless until I have to catch the 4:19 PM PST light rail back to my house. Will be leaving for the station around 3:35 PM PST. (about 3 hours and 5 minutes of staying in school).

I apologize for my internet silence but I was having my router looked at since it is the source of the problem so I had no internet at all T_T anywho I have it back and it is definitely a port problem but that what I get for switching from cable to windstream sigh.......and I started it on a weekday because of a member that was full on weekends but seeing as he requested that it be on a weekend now I will gladly switch it however that doesn't ignore the problem at hand which is the port problem...... anyway it will be the same time but on Sundays now if anyone has problems let me know I'll try and find the best solution. As for the port problem the sooner someone can set me up with a fix to it I'd be grateful because there would be no game otherwise because even if someone else were to create the server I couldn't connect to it due to my stupid router. Suggestions are welcomed, appreciated, and needed.

You can try openRPG, but I'm not sure if you have to open ports with that program (similar to maptools, but has a few things maptools doesn't have). Although maybe finding a friend that's specialized in networking is also a great person to have. However, there's always waiting until the fall season to recheck everyone's schedule.

Really, I have doubts that the campaign is even going to be a reality the way things have gone for 3 weeks.
