It's still a work in progress, but when I came to find something useful I noticed that the sheets thus far weren't very usable (at least for me).

Feel free to use it, I'll update it regularly as I add in spell-cards, psychic-power cards, Technique-Cards, etc.  Hopefully as it's completed, it'll be all that everyone wants.  If you see any obvious flaws, please don't hesitate to ping me over them.  Tongue

Well, a week's worth of toil and I now have a sheet that is MOSTLY automated.  Make a character in seconds with this tool.

I'm not insane, so since I'm not getting paid, I did not type out the pages of Spells, Powers, etc that are available (If Eden wants to pay me, I'd be glad to waste time doing it of course Tongue).

So, you can quickly make a character, but if you want to track spells, etc, you have to manually fill in your own spell cards, elan cards, psychic power cards, summonings cards, etc.  They're all there, nicely formatted, just needs data.  Wink

It has 2 sheets for printing, in addition to the "Cards" people may want.  The character sheet, and a Combat Sheet (which includes the Combat Table on a 2nd page).  It calculates your attacks, initiative, etc for up to 5 weapons (1 is for unarmed), for wearing armour, holding a shield, wearing armour AND holding a shield, or just wielding the weapon.

There are things I did not bother to automate, but which I likely will in the future (mostly because I just accidently skipped over it, or because it seemed of little importance).

Hope at least someone out there enjoys it other than my nephew who I made it for.  :d  If not, oh well.  Feel free to modify it to your needs.

Password for the pages is: anima

I recommend you do anything you want calculated before you go making changes to the sheet...  But your call.

NOTE: Multi-Classing is not supported on this sheet.  Sorry.

Well, just an FYI, I still have to add advantages/disadvantages to the calculations.  Upcoming changes should include:

  • Acute Senses adding to Notice/Search
  • Martial Knowledge adding to Martial Knowledge
  • Jack of All Trades adding 10 and ignoring -30
  • Natural and Mystical Armour
  • Elan Point Distribution
  • Checks for "The Gift" for MR bonus, Buying Advantages, Etc.
  • Checks for Psychic Common Advantages to allow Psychic Advantages
  • Superior Resistance bonuses to Magic, Physical and Psychic
  • Weak Immunity for VR as well as the Magic Disadvantage
  • Replacing the ability to set your level with setting your XP
  • Adding Fatigue mods for advantages/dis
  • Regeneration mods for advantages/dis
  • And a Fumble chart which will also check advantages/dis.

So, not complete, but also not things that make it broke (and since I go on vacation on Sunday, a release pre-vacation that will give people something to use).

Maybe it's just that I'm on openoffice, but I get a lot of 'not found' errors and mistakes.

Also, I cannot read the readme, as it does not offer itself for review upon hovering. Could you send me a PM containing the meat of it? Thank you!

Yeah, OpenOffice doesn't read Excel documents from anyone that creates them from 2007+ I'm afraid.  Office 2007 expanded Excel to include a LOT more coding options which are not compatible with older excels (such as very nested if-statements).  This document really only works with Office 2007+, Anima has too many variables for me to try doing this in the old .xls format that OpenOffice can use.

I like OpenOffice as a concept, and wish Microsoft did the same for their Office products, but in comparisson, it's a really weak package.  As much as I'm pro-freeware, it just doesn't have the power that Microsoft Office has.  Sad

Ok, listed items to complete are now complete with the exception of:

  • Fumble Chart (Not really sure it's needed, and doesn't really fit...)

Enjoy, I'll be back in 3 weeks to fix anything anyone finds wrong with the sheet.  Please do feel free to give it a good run.  Smiley

Note: Again, does not support multi-classing, and won't (because that means tracking BP's per-level...).

Sorry, the page (or document) you have requested is not available.

Please check the address and try again.
make sure to make it shareable to everyone (read only of course)
otherwise I would really like to see someone else's take on a digital sheet

I will mention I discovered its easier to just make a list of things that can change and alter the stats through a separate sheet instead of trying to link the stats to advantages disadvantages (at least that what Im think your doing)

The permissions are correct (anyone with a link)  If clicking doesn't work, maybe cut-n-paste?

https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0ByRf9gGg2fwGYjZhMDIxNTUtZTg1Ny00YWEyLTlkYzQtNmRhZjhiMjA2YzEw

Anyhows, it's a download, google-docs doesn't convert xlsx nicely and kills most of the automation in the process.  If you can't get the download, feel free to PM me your email address and I'll email you a copy of it.

Negative, ghost rider.

Yeah, the link isn't working through copy/paste or clicking on it.

It's a joy to work with now that I have it in Excel; the only qualm I have is that artifacts seem to have no place (the equipment only having +5). How am I supposed to do things like a spirit's panoply?

Still a LOT of work to do on it.  Have to include more of the Advantages as well, but that Artifact, never even heard of it.  I only have the Core Rulebook and GM Screen.  Nothing else has been released over here in Belgium/Netherlands.

I appreciate the feedback, help, and compliments some of you have sent me.  Smiley  Just wanted to update you.

Next release should have some Modules added, allowing a separation of Attack/Defense for Magic Projection (for Psychic as well, though not needed me thinks), allowing the Mystical and Psychic Combat Modules to alter Projection.

Will add more cheat-sheet tables, such as Stealth vs Notice/Search, Defenses for multiple actions, maximum number of actions, pure defense bonus, etc.

Will add ranges to ranged weapons, and include in strength bonuses for it as well as Difficulties and Defense modifiers.

Will also add in Psychic Potential on a per-power basis so that you can spend Power Points.

If you notice anything else that should be, give me a holler.  We've already (thanks Kaileo) made a change to the Accumulation table to include hyper regeneration (Superior Magic Recovery Advantage).
