Rather than put them all here I'll just link to the album on Photobucket.  There's about 270 pics in all and 4 videos.

I'm not going to lie...there's a lot of booth babes and cosplayers.  Can you blame me?

Yeah, thanks for the pictures. It's clear where your priorities are, though  Wink

Did you get to play any of the games, too? I'm especially interested in some first-hand intel on Vanquish and Fable3..

I played Vanquish and it was really good.  Its really similar to an old Xbox game from like 2002 called Gunvalkyrie.  Most people can easily note the similarities to Gears of War (the ducking behind cover stuff).  The sequence of buttons to go into slow motion was a little clunky but will become second nature with practice.  Once you get used to it, its a fast paced thrill-a-minute roller coaster of a game.  I really like his hand to hand attacks.  They were brutal.  I think I was in line for it for about an hour or so.

The line for Fable III was too long for me to warrant getting in on it.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 was everything I'd hoped it would be.

I played a motorbike game called SBKX at the 360 area as well because the line was super short.  I'm not much of a racing gamer but I'll take a short line when I see one.  I had the guy working the demo area for it cracking up because not only was I the only person that actually pressed the wheelie button, I was reacting to the game by speaking in Japanese (often swearing when I wrecked or when my idea of taking a shortcut through the grass didn't work).

There's a new Steel Battalion on the way.  I'm curious how it will play without the giant 40-something button controller from the old Xbox.  Its for Kinect so I'm even more curious.  There was only a video for it at the Capcom booth.

I spent a lot of time in a line for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 (Namco's Tales of games crossover series).  I ducked out after like 45 minutes because I saw it was going to be too close to the end of the show by the time I got to try it.

As for the more photos of girls than games goes, every booth is all about no pictures or recordings...except for the girls.  Its kind of annoying when you really want to share what you saw.

I also spent a lot of time with 3 of my friends from America who were in town just to see TGS.  That was really fun.  I hadn't seen one of them in like 6 years.

The truth is, you can't get that many games in.  The lines are huge and the place is only open for like 7 hours.  I was in line for so long just to enter the convention that I lost an hour (the herd was quite impressive).  The best thing you can do is pick two or three demos that you are absolutely set on trying and then just watch videos for everything else.

Actually, I have to give Sega a big round of applause here.  They were mostly demos at their booth.  If you picked up their pamphlet they were handing out it came with a DVD of trailers for a huge load of games.  Everyone has these little booklets with what to expect in the next year, but Sega was the only one that had the DVD in it.

I was surprised to see Behemoth games (Castle Crashers and Alien Hominid) there.  I didn't know they were in the Japanese market.  I was also surprised because one of their booth babes was someone I know.  Small world!
