So let's see:

o - Cambio Absoluto (Magia, Efecto)

And my translation:

The Al-Djinn acquires all of the stats (Attributes, Max AP, Ap Recharge, Innate Abilities and Special Abilities) of a unit in play of level 60 or lower. It only keeps his own Life Points and any damage it has received until that moment. At the beginning of any subsequent Recovery Phase, the Al-Djinn may decide wether it keeps the imitated stats or it recovers his own.

Don't think this is going to solve much...

You know I would rather have Damage Resistance copied and a ruling like that would be fine by me.  But its one of many rule messes that Al-Djinn brings up and it has somewhat a clear rule indicating it might be something else.  Whatever I'll personally argue it should be copies.

You're welcome.

Regarding Damage Resistance, I'd say it's not the Al-Djinn's fault, but a consequence of it being an 'innate ability' without really being so. Damage Resistance should be indicated in the Archetype line. Imagine the chaos if 'summon' or 'undead' were also listed as Innate Abilities.
So why is DR an innate?
Heaven only knows.

You know I think I'll try to get back on topic.

To me Long Li is the oldest looking character followed close behind by Reindhold and Grey.  And while I know a few of the girls are actually ancient, none of them look to even be in their 30s, geeesh!  Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy

I know we could use a few more older characters; maybe they could add a matronly Saint for once.  Wink

That reminds me: Is Morrigan available for sale yet? I want to buy her as soon as possible; she is important to many of my teams.

If we want to return to the original topic, I'll say this:

To be honest, what Zeru said many pages before has striking relevance: newer Abilities are more sensational, but not necessarily more effective. Saga I Abilities, and Characters, tend to be simpler, but that does not mean they have fallen prey to the "Power Creep".

Really, the only lackluster Saga I Characters, in my opinion, are Duncan Reid, Kronen, Shinigami Ayl, Feng Yi, Akio, and The Three Dragons.

And yet, those who cry "Broken!" at newer Characters so easily forget the Marks of Bael? Or how about the kill rate of Claire and her Eadgil Solaris? Oh, let's not leave out Cheshire's Summon. Alessa Raincross is hardly useless, and Alis and Azriel are crucial to generalist Church Teams. Dark Valestis, a 7/8 Charge for only 3 AP? Harod, probably the best non-Sniper Prowler in the game? Oh, and Faust and Kujaku can go party as Damage Resistance Eaters.

Saga III Characters are not any more broken (except Summons). In my opinion, Kerberos is on the lower end of Level 50s. Type-005s are near abysmal, and Arkham, I've heard, is okay. Kingsley is a good Level 50, but I would not say as good as some Level 50s who preceded him, aka Azriel, Dark Cheshire, Samiel, or Celia. Saga III Characters, some off the top of my head: Erika, Macbeth, Claude, Marchosias, Grey, Momiji, Nahimana, are all great, but not broken.

You forgot the most awesome saga 3 character so far........

HIRO

God will not forgive you for this insult.  Tongue

In all seriousness, Hiro is one of, if not, the best 50 point character in the game.

Psh. Covel is where its at; I started loving summons due to him. And for 60 points he is the best bargain for all that he does.

And behind Covel, as most awesome-est Saga III Character, is Nahimana, one of the only girl tanks in the game. She is a landmark in women's rights for Anima! And Hiro? He is only a boy playing dress up!

I would say he is up there for Level 50's, but "Posing" is a pretty huge drawback. I couldn't handle killing somebody and then losing an AP/gaining Slow.

"posing" is less of a draw back then you think. I've had Hiro kill multiple people in a game without even using Nephiros. And if you really hate losing AP every time Hiro kills someone then take Nephiros which effectively eliminates that penalty.

What about Clock of Chronos? For that surprise, out of nowhere "Ultra Finisher"? Tongue

Thats what I pretty much always take though I often just use the clock for defense after using Rider Kick or to help me get off 3 ap special attacks when I'm running low on AP.

Ah. But the best Advantage Card for Hiro will probably be his Theurgia card. We don't know Theurgia's Stats and Abilities, but I'm assuimg they're proficient, so switching from Hiro to a Gear will probably be awesome, I must admit.

I'm thinking of giving Wissenschaft a try sometime soon; Samael and Church are my main Organizations, and the only experience I've had with Wiss is when I've faced them.
