Anyone know if there will be a printed version?  Good maps like this would be useful for all kinfs of games.

YAY! A forest setting for me to have my players set appon by Chufffs! I'm gonna use the Minis for my RPG. I like combining tactical and cinematic.

as nice as the maps are, I'm too fond of going to the trouble of creating 3d terrain for a playing field (as a warhammer, 40k, warmacine, and hordes player) and I don't think I'll be using the maps so much. but I'd have to say its a good way to pick up the game for those of us who don't have shelves full of terrain.

Are all the official maps going to have the grid?

No.
The game is supposed to be played with real stenography; the grid is only for Board game rules ^_^.

I guessed that, with real (Real?) scenery these kind of miniature games are so much more effective and clearer to play. Even mentioning the gaming fun and experiendce becomes better.

It's still nice to have a simple mat to roll out for a quick game wherever.  Some of my friends don't have scenery.

Also I'm eyeing the map up for other games.

True, right now I have an scenery board WIP then I have to make the scenery, but if someone could get 1 of those things just for the time being, it's acceptable, even for the small lunchbreak games Wink

a reccomendation to those planning on creating scenery, keep at it, if it doesn't turn out so well then you learn from it on your next peice, make sure that you don't create just a board wit the scenery glued onto it, that makes for very dry play over time, due to its inability to change. for those who like a flowing look for terrain, maybe making a system of interlocking-6x6 or 12x12 squares would be a better option so that you can mix things up. also, some terrain is better than none, and poor terrain is better than none aswell, so be proud of your creations.
