Yeah, if it comes to worst I'll have to order new releases from Ludik Bazaar, however they'll come packaged with French cards instead of English and I have no knowledge of this language at all :/ Damn the localizations! (or maybe not, else we'd have no English version At least the RPG books will still be readily available in Poland. Oh, and that AT sells well in Spain is no wonder, 'cause, you know, it's a Spanish game. Hell Dorado used to sell well in France too. As did the Chronicles of the Black Moon / The Return of the Gods. Games usually do best in their home countries, one of the reasons Warmahordes is becoming the most popular game in the States.

Yeah, such is the way of things. It is the same reason the Xbox 360 does terrible in Japan compared to the PS3, despite the opposite being true elsewhere.
I talked to the Cipher guys for quite a bit at Gencon, and it really helps put things in perspective.
One of the primary reasons Hell Dorado is going so smoothly is because Cipher has a lot more control over it then they do Anima: Tactics. Everything in AT has to be run through Carlos before it can be approved, which slows things down considerably. The translation process is particularly painful for this reason.

Yeah, the Carlos part and that the core Anima team is still only Carlos, another guy and the artist utterly kills the ability to be dinamic of the game, since they do more than just the miniature game. Releases come out as drops in the rain, the books are always horribly late and they don't do anything for cons to pike interest. I'm from Madrid and Malifaux right now is growing fast while anima is more fringe by the day. Both forums being effectively dead because of lack of discussion doesn't help either.

Gods! Make, please, so that AS sells A:T in Corvus Belly (example) As long as Carlos has to green light everything, it's utterly irrelevant who the distributor is.

I know it's not going to be a popular opinion, but I think strict artistic control has made Anima a better game. The look and feel are really the big sellers, and if that means accepting some delays, I'm OK with that, as long as we get regular information as to what's up from the guys behind the scene.

Saga 3 ? AT didn't survive Saga 2 here ! After the delay with the release of the English rule book and the low support and release of AT product from the moment they set up Hell Dorado, it's all dead here! Almost all the AT gamers in the community are in something else and it isn't Hell Dorado. I hope CS can bring it back a live but I don't think it will happen My brother and I are going to get back into Anima: Tactics. We stripped our old minis and are going to repaint them. Though overall the game has little to no following here. More teamwork with FFG would've helped. And of course the lack of releases are especially painful.

Even with a smaller player base, there's still a lot of people buying them just to paint or use in RPGs. That's all thanks to the art style.

We are trying to keep Anima Tactics going here in Northern Virginia and running a campaign game using the Dark is the Fallen Sky by Raith... David Saga 3 ? AT didn't survive Saga 2 here ! I just recently was introduced to the game after seeing the artwork for a long time and being impressed. Dropped $70 on the game after 3 matches and even though it has a small following, it's not like it was a huge investment for the quality of the models.

Agree, they are very nice figures and compared to other games you can game as less cost as you can get into our campaign with three figures! But suggest collecting your favorite team.
