I will be starting a map based campaign at Village Games in Anoka MN.  I have done these before with other games and it has always been a great time.  This style gives you a visual goal to accomplish while you play your games and i have always managed to keep it fun and not to competitive.  I will post when i have more info so keep watching here.  Also if you live in MN come on up every Friday and play with us.

Map Based Anima?

Sounds a bit difficult. In that I imagine Anima more as a gang fight than a battle for land lol.

But this sounds interesting to say the least. Good Luck!

You have to be a little liberal with your imagination but i have run out of ideas for leagues and campaigns up at my store so i am trying something different Tongue  I would love to see some official campaigns or anything come down from Cipher studios but i think i have a better chance winning the lottery then seeing that happen.  I will be starting up in about two weeks and i will post some more info up here when i have worked out the details.  Also if you live in MN be sure to come check it out.

Map campaigns are fine and having played in numerous campaigns (other rules) I have found it very easy for the players to follow into playing the map than just having the map generating battles, so be careful.  Check the scale of the map in the back of the book, that is one huge continent!!!

I dropped the map size down into a city i felt that was more practical for organizations to control.

I think that would be a fun idea if you had enough players.  It would be cool if you could get loot in the form of advantage cards that you could pool for your army to use.  Let me know if you get this working, because I would like to run a campaign too.
