Destruction of magic works on any magic, it reactively denies it.

Wow, Medeus looks great! I see a lot of sinergy with him and some Samael models and adventages, he can be a shoter a buffer or a debuffer. I also love the idea of the fragile archmage (look at his stats XD) who relies in his magical powers.

Yup friendly units don't have to even attempt the resistance check.  It is only in there for enemy units.  But I would like to point out that there is now a way to get Poison on friendly units like say Konosuke, Lynn, Romeo...

I did have one little question does Destruction of Magic cancel Magical Offensive and Defensive special?  Right now I think it only cancels Magical Skills with the Effect Keyword: Terrain Control (Reinhold), Soul Scavenge (Arkham), Azrael (Gemini), Breath of Life (Lilian), Coral Ecstasy (Aoi), Nux (Valis/reg), The Devil (Belith).

Put poison in Kono is a great idea, but not in Lynn or Romeo, in both the damage must be done from an enemy source.

Yeah, it cancels all kind of magic but when it is being casting, i donīt think it works with maintained abilities when they are active.

Seems to me that he can be stupedly abusable with a list geared towards him. Mainly, getting him to be able to put berserk lvl 2 at effect 18 and then having Dinah murderate the berserkered model in question with massed pointblank shots with supernatural devourer.

You can already do that now with Bael cheap for Berserk lvl 3 effect 18 with control bound and 4th org advantage.

But the Medeus' advantage is he can do it from a safest distance.

True, but doing it from 16" away makes all the difference. It means Medeus can be safe and far away from the nasty things that would nuke him while he does his trickery and also and more importantly, he can go deep. Ranged model getting you down? Berserk it and watch it bite it's own hand doing nothing for a couple of turns or if feeling ballsy, try and berserk Sophia/Gemini/Adler or similar heavy support models that usually wouldn't be anywhere near bael's action sphere.

Using Medeus (lv 60) to buff Konosuke (lv 55) don't sound impressive to me considering the amount of useful stuff the Medeus can do.

The idea isnīt keep buffing him the whole game. If you give kono equipament which requires APs (like chaos or definitive weapon) and then in the first turn you gives him poison (level 1 or 2 depending on the advantage). Kono may be damaged 2 times from the poison per turn. It implies that when the turn of hostilities came you have kono with his 2-3 power tokens ready to blow something up. You only needs to cast it once, when the tougher part of the battle starts, Medeus will probably have things more importats to do.

By the way if Medeus is so cool, then how good is Angelus, who is a Fallen Angel?

Very impressed; not cheap, but covers buffing, debuffing and damage, so therefore at least a couple of Party choices in terms of range of options.
