Can Fate use two advantage cards like other non-gear wiss characters?
No. It isn't written on her card, so she can't. However, she may use one advantage card, while the gears can't. I'm asking if thats an error because its happened before where a wissenschaft character was allowed to use two advantage cards but it was left off their card. Such as Celia. |

Well considering how many errors, erratas, and omissions we have seen, it never hurts to ask. If we are lucky we will get a definitive answer from AS. Until then I'll continue to believe Fate is correctly written down and she can only have one attached advantage card.

Isn't she is a bit too much for just 40 points? Sure thing Grim was bad with Attack 4, but making it an Attack 6 Armour+Defence 15 (which means that 6/6 attacks score average 3 damage) and with 35 hp sounds like overkill. Sure think Damien, Kujaku or Valis (again) shine in such situations, but..

While bonuses are a little over the top on some of the Gears. What I find really tough is Gears don't even have to be in her Control Zone for them to get those bonuses. Still I haven't played her yet & won't until she comes out. So maybe she is easier to take out then one thinks. -ape2020 |

They don't have to be in her CZ and also she don't have to spend any actions for buffs. Rule-avoiding ability again, same as Valis.

Useable and good are two different things.
Reist on Grim is simply too expensive, your better off getting the Legacy (Valeria) or Zero Sigma for that point cost.

Grim's problem as as a leader is the same problem as Nk-X's problem as a leader. Max AP is 4 instead of 5 as almost every other leader in the game. That is a huge disadvantage for a unit that's giving away 20 extra VP and locking out other super-powered leader units.
I agree that Legacy or Zero is still a much better options. But it does make Steiner much more offensive then just a damage soak and Fredrick a devastating artillery.

Fate is great with all the gears. She provides the largest buff to Grim piloted by Steiner but shes great with all the gears. Think of it this way. If she heals a Gear just 2 times shes basically gives them +10 LP. At the very least it can force your opponent to spend another attack on your gear to destroy it rather than attacking someone else.

Mystics is all you see? What about all that armor rolling around for Justina's partner in crime? That whole team just became top guns against that massive Gear list. Still its hard to plow through all that LP regardless of how much damage one outputs. -ape2020 |

Well Damien is more of a necessity agains wissenshaft these days with all the heavy armor gears and the process so I didn't mention him. You have only 1/3 chances of encoutering a pure no Armor wissenshaft force and thats only if you take on valis in leader form
