Ah, I see what you mean but I sort of see them as unnecessary already. The only Organization that needs wanderers to cover a glaring weakness would be Azur. Khaine D'Lacreu and Faust Orbatos make great tanks for Azur teams. I see Wanderers more as a way to provide more variety to Organizations but they are completely unnecessary. They are just a way to make your team more unique.

I never bought that many Wanderers (Cennette, Drake, Sophia), but I still use Sophia. Valis as a Leader has some nice buffs, but it's easier to squeeze Sophia into a list even in a lower-point game. Fate will obviously replace Sophia for Gear armies, though! ^o^

So long as Faust and Sophia exist, I think Wanderer's will always see play. Especially in Organizations like Black Sun and Wissenschaft, which have Organization Advantages involving Wanderers.

Sophia in particular has a place in basically every Organization with the possible exception of Church, who has a ton of support of their own.

Faust on the other hand is one of the best all around Warriors in the game, and any team that could use a beefy melee fighter will have a place for him.

but I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll add a small section for Wanderer's that work well with each Orginization, keep in mind this will be limited to Saga 3 for the purposes of this thread.

Edit: Added a brief Wanderer/Summon section to the Azur Alliance.

The Church update is done. Feel free to discuss how you feel saga 3 has effected church so far.

I agree with a lot of the analysis you have made, I would be interested in seeing your opinion on what the best take all comers list for each organization is with all models available, not just quality lists using the saga 3 characters

But it's the whole point of that thread, to discuss characters from saga 3. Analysis of whole armies was done already(it's somewhere on the forum). It's a bit outdated on it's own but with addition of this one you got nice compilation.

As sAdam said, the point of this thread is to outline and discuss the impact of the Saga 3 characters on the Metagame of each Organization.

Saga 1 and 2 have been discussed a great deal in the past through various Organization threads, but Saga 3's impact hasn't been discussed in depth yet.

I understand the point of the thread which is why I was interested to see how the new saga three characters affected a true metagame and not just games between people only using saga 3 characters.  I wasn't asking for analysis on the whole army just when he gets to the list building section to show these new characters have changed lists he would take to a tournament instead of a saga 3 party.

You kinda cover it in the breakdown of each model saying what they work well with, and I don't want to slow down your process or change your plans, just offering some discussion points.

Every list I put up here is tournament worthy. Some of them are even outright superior to any list you can create purely with Saga 1-2 characters. They aren't just Saga 3 party's, they are all tournament level lists in my eyes.

Saga 3 has effected every Organization a great deal, expanding their options and filling out weaknesses that previously existed.

So there seems to be some disconnect between what I was trying to get across and I think it is because my reading skills failed me hard last night.  I was asking for lists made of characters from saga 1,2, and 3 which you actually have already done in both breakdowns so far.

Lol so now I think is the time to bow my head and ask for forgiveness, continue your breakdowns and I promise to read every word carefully and cross reference the book before making ignorant statements in the future.

I woud like to correct a point about the Azur Alliance :

Quote from: Zeru
The Al'djinn is also capable of producing Ash Slaves, which potentially make Kerberos quite useful if you create Azur Agents with it.
The Ash Slaves who copy the Azur Agent's stats don't gain the Attack +1 bonus from Kerberos. They are not real Agents, but "only" Ash Slaves.

Edit : However, the Ash Slaves synergise very well with Alastor's order called "Terminus".
For example, make an Al-Djinn generate an Empire Agent (with Damage +3), then make this one engage an enemy unit and cast Terminus. The Ash Slave will perform an attack with : Attack 7 / Damage 10.

Edit 2 : Arbiters can't user Orders on an Ashes Slave.

Unless there is some kinda FAQ entry I don't know of I'd argue that an Ash Slave is summoned and therefor can't be targeted by his Arbiter orders.

An ash slave is not a summon, it doesn't have any of the characteristic of a summon nor is it ever stated that it is treated as a summon in regards to the rules of various abilities.
