So if I recall correctly, Aracana Exxet should be the next major release for English Anima, then core exxet. Any word?

None. Core Exxet and Arcane Exxet were released simultanesouly in Spanish. It is uncertain which will be released first.

FWIW the Anima core book was just reprinted in English which doesn't bode well for any plans to see Core Exxet soon.

My guess is that we will not hear anything until Gencon 2012 at the earliest.

And what about Cor exxet? I heard Arcana exxet uses revised rules.

now i just hope they didn't convert the stuff in there back to the current core book =x

On the other hand, the only changes you need form core exxet for this book is the new characteristic tests, so maybe they have included those rulings in here instead?

it does have the new spell formats too, but there are no big problems with just using them in the new format, and the old spells like they are. I guess they are translating AE first, because it will be a lot faster then the whole corebook. from a gamemasters point it'd like too see core exxet first though.

Yeah thats not the problem, I already have a full translation of both, core exxet and arcana exxet, as well as i have a selfmade printed out magic book containing all spells from them (new format). I'd just like to have them in the actuall(english) books whith the same format and the same values for characteristic checks Smiley

Arcana is listed as on the boat right now, but it also says that Q3 2012 is the expected shipping date  Undecided.

Amazon.com shows it as January 2013

I preordered through Amazon because I'm lazy, and they e-mailed verifying that January is the expected ship date.  Boo.

Why does the translation need so much more time than the actual writing of these books anyway? Is it so hard to find someone who can speak spanish and english, and understands basic layout design?

I think as a follower we are not far from getting more benefit from learning spanish just for that, instead of waiting on the cliff for around two years. Everybody else is already using the advanced rules - that is so demoralising.
