I have never tried PbP, but I would be willing to. Ideally though I would like to play in a live game. But, at this point I will do what it takes to try out Anima.

Is there a way I can create a character so you guys can see the character sheet? Like a excel document or something? Also, so far I have only read the play guide portion of the core book, so my knowledge of Gaia is almost non existent, is that going to be a problem?

Won't really be a problem, but I suggest reading at least the history chapter in the core rules, it's only a few pages long.
Also Vash and SmilingKnight have been approved, take a look at the character creation and start thinking.
