I was dubious that a 3-sided fight would work at all. Even though I ended up winning, I still think it was maybe a bad idea.

Let's see if I can remember the forces involved.

Me: Morrigan, Genma, Arias Vayu, and Nahimana

Brian: Promethea, Clover, Raziel (the one with the chains), and Type-12 Hunter.

Jason: Evangeline, Azriel, Khaine, and Nero

Basically, Jason & Brian started the fight. I stood back while they killed eachother. I stepped in to attack the more powerful force, which kept them alive longer, so they could continue to be a threat to eachother and mostly ignore me. When a couple of them had dropped, and they realized they needed to team up against me, almost all of them were hurt, and I was fresh. I had some lucky rolls, too. I managed to kill most of the figures on the table, and I only lost one - Morrigan, from Doom. Also, nobody got credit from my Arias since she went away, and was never killed.

Some of you might have been able to tell me a 3-way is a bad idea, but I thought I'd tell the story, in case any other newbs out there got any wild ideas Smiley

That seems to be the way 3-ways go, 1 guy sits back then picks of the winner, or 2 gang up on 1.

Only noticeable thing is that the Black sun list is pretty illegal, it looks like your playing a 200 point game, Clover can't be taken until 250 and the NK-X can't be taken till 300

I need to correct Brian's List. Replace the NK-X with Kingsley. He is still, of course, a damn dirty cheater. Just not as bad as I you originally thought Smiley

I played a 3-way game at 200 points last week. We knew that there's a tendency for one person to sit back and then win at the end, so we set upa "capture the flag" game with one flag in the middle. That way, everyone at least got involved in the fighting! It worked fairly well, although one guy got obliterated fairly early on. I think that was mainly due to inexperience rather than a problem with the game setup though.

Any other centralised scenario such as Control should work fairly well to make sure everyone gets involved and doesn't just sit back. Smiley

Me and a few friends play this all the time. The more you play it the more everyone realizes that its a more fun game when everyone jumps in the melee.

I've played a game like that and I was seen as the threat early on so it was 2 vs me!

Anyhow I not sure he was cheating with the Nk-X.  I believe its 300 levels or under like Agents are 150 levels and under and Type-005 are 100 levels and under.  I think only leader has the Threshold limit of 250 points for each leader you party is playing with.  If not then which limit comes into play when the Nk-X becomes a Crossraiker; 300 Availability or 250 Leader?

I don't believe that's true. I've never read anything anywhere to make me think that the wording "one Leader for every 250 Levels" is any different to "one Agent for every 150 Levels" or any of the other "one X for every Y Levels."

Both. Since you can only take an NK-X in a 300 point game, it always has the option to be made a Leader, because the game is always over 250 points. You might not make it a Leader because you prefer to take a different Leader, or because you don't want to pay the extra +5 Levels.
