PLAYERS ! DON'T READ !

Characters own a ticket (or will be stowaway) for the very first Zeppelin flight, "The Lady" that was bought to Lucrecio by Gabriel. The first inaugural flight will go from Chaville (Gabriel) to Archangel.

During the flight, The Lady will be hijacked by some guards. But there are not alone, as Raptor, one of Malekith's minion, is trying to make the zeppelin crash on an inner sea island called Corvinus. (first part : fast action and fight)

On Corvinus, a very boring and sad (and isolated) little fishermen island, players will try to understand who is the Marquis, what Father Scott was studying before he dies, what is that strange black cathedral, why they have so much nightmares, etc. (second part : free investigation and roleplay)

The final is about Seline Luna and Raptor (big fight), and smart players could understand the whole story of Corvinus in the past 15 years. (except for Raptor's relationship with Malekith).

Thanks  Grin

It actually sounds quite good.

Part of me keeps wondering why the Anima people don't get upset about you guys posting so many spoilers... And then I realise that your just making me more and more restless for the books to be translated.

At least this ones not so long away

As far as I can tell, the GM screen was translated and/or proofread by different people than the big rulebook, so some things have different names.

Psychokinetic Bait most likely means Psychokinetic Trap.

Ran Shadows Within Dreams, up through the encounters on The Lady... fight with the captain just about didn't happen, since, using all the detection means at their disposal, along with their paranoia from fighting other guards, my players literally burst into the room powers blazing and one-shotted him. Poor bugger didn't stand a chance.

(More Spoilers)

Hola all. I thought it's probably best to resurrect this thread in an attempt to keep Shadows Within Dreams questions in one place. Without further ado:

1) The soldiers open fire using crossbows in to the crowd. This feels, well, a little too bloodthirsty. I may rewrite this to the soldiers informing the passengers that the zeppelin is now under their control, and to get on the floor and stay quiet. A blustering merchant resists, is shot, blood flies, screams ring out, and things go ugly fast. That wasn't really a question, however comments are welcomed.
2) When the players wash-up on the island, how/why are they healed of their wounds?
3) Does anyone know of a map, or handout, for Corvinus village?
4) Again, not really a question. The size of Corvinus from the world map in Gaia is much larger than that suggested by the adventure.

Thanks in advance Smiley

The biggest hurdle I had to overcome considering the Shadows Within Dreams module is that the specified Zeppelin flight path from Du'lacart to Archangel has 0 water underneath it making it impossible for the zeppelin to crash and the parties end up on an island in the ocean.

They're taking a scenic route so people can enjoy flying over the water.

In the campaign module they are flying from Chaville, Gabriel to Archangel, Abel. Chaville contracted the use of this zepplin from Lucrecio as to show their superiority to Archangel by flying over the city. This is because Chaville is sore that Archangel became the capital of the Holy Empire and they did not. There is a big rivalry between the cities. This flight path takes them directly over the island of Corvis as seen on the map in the Gaia book.

I believe they were killing people because the captain of the guard was being bribed to deliver the airship to someone for a boat load of money. Cannot have people on board messing this up so he ordered the execution of them.

2) When the players wash-up on the island, how/why are they healed of their wounds?

It doesn't really specify. I would probably not heal them. To give them a reason to stay at the inn.

Alternately, There is a lord of the Wake there, Seline Luna I believe who contacts the party through dreams and personifies a child in those dreams. Possibly the same person keeping Raptor off the island. Not too sure. She may have healed them. Or maybe a day or two passes while they are unconscious and a bit of natural healing ensues.

3) Does anyone know of a map, or handout, for Corvinus village?

There is no handout for the city, however with the short descriptions in the handout you can throw something together. There are a few notable places in the city (the inn, the church, etc.) and that young girls house short ways outside the city.

A lot of the island is plain grassland so you could just expand a bit here and there or trim a bit if needed to make the sizes fit. Never really looked at that myself.
