Very good. I totally agree with the Gnosis ratings so far, nice that the perception of those values stays in line for different people.

One thing though, can't the Eidolons be invocations too? In most Final Fantasys where they appear, they are just invocations (because the concept of actual summoning was invented later of course).
I know it breaks the number of the 22 Arcanas, but couldn't they be optional or something? Because nothing beats the feeling of a one turn bahamut invocation for massive neutral area damage.
Or maybe just variations on some cards? Shiva and Siren could share one place and divide the two effects among them. Or Tiamat and Bahamut, Ramuh and Ixion, Odin and Yojimbo or Anima. You get the idea.

Also, there was a small fix to Fenrir's DP Expenditure in the growth chart(concerning howling moon).
As for those who asked for the techniques, we will only make them once most of our creations are complete. thank you for your patience, now enjoy Ramuh the Ageless Sage
Edit: Rii Nagaja, we talked about what you said and we find that they do not really fit as arcana. They are gods who send avatars of themselves into the real world as summons. We also talked about great beast invocations for them but turned down the idea as it is more work that we don't really care to do since we arent interested in giving the eidolons more powers. also we find that each card is perfectly niched as they are and have no room to have 2 faces. Thank you for the feedback, we will try to keep updated.
Also, the basic elemental summons will have a gnosis of 20. The Perpetuation cost has also been slightly modified.

P.S: i made a few minor changes to the previous summons, characteristic changes really. we balanced them out so that their Perpetuation cost would rise a bit at the right level.

There will be more work to come, it is just that we are really iccupied with other thongs at the moment. The next will be Leviathan, and we don't have to wait for AE, we have it in french, if you look at Ramuh, you will see what i mean.

the final 4 are near complete. there will also be minor changes to the previous 4 due to us finding an error in our calculations. I'll warn you all against waiting on this, for we work on it when we have time. Beta versions are complete, just need the final adjustments for their perpetuation costs and skills.

Hi everyone,

Some of you might know me already as i used to be present back in the days. Yep, well i admit it been some time now. I didn't had much time. I am glad you loved this project from Raybras and myself.

Therefore as you might know i'm Raybras Gm and we work on this project for quite some time. We only teased you with a part of it so far but we when actual quite farther. About all the god also referred as Eidolon.

Of course we will post them all very soon as we got ourselves a bit more of free time lately. To give us a little excuses, we only have role playing game about well everyday...  Yes Everyday...  This include in all in for all about 14 games ALL actives, 6 of them uses the anima system. And they are probably the most active too.

But I'm not here to makes excuses about how busy i have been or how busy Raybras is. If i post here today it is to make an announcement...


NO don't worry i won't stop this project jeez..... you really though it? jeez...

No in fact i came here today to tell you the whole project!!!

You might know by the list of the Eidolon and the Aeon. Those are all good at the start from what you guys know. But we don't want every players or people that summon to be able to do it with god/Eidolon.

First you need to understand that for us we apply two type of summoner, The Grand summoner that can call Eidolon and Elemental. And the Summoner that calls forward Aeon to send mystical effect to their aids.

Like i said you don't do you first summon by invoking the great Shiva or Fenrir. You actually need to get those summon in their temple and by binding yourself (with prayer, a bit like yuna) But in the meanwhile what would a grand summoner do? if he/she can't summon gods, she need something else witch will be elemental.

Those elemental will lvl up every 2 lvl instead of every lvl. So as for the Eidolon that is always the lvl of the summoner, the elemantal are minimum, lvl 1 then will lvl every 2 lvl of the summoner. So a lvl 5 summoner would invoke a lvl 3 elemantal.

The good point will be, they are much cheaper to keep. Allowing to maybe have more then one are they aren't unique creatures.

Also we will work on UNIQUE technique for every Eidolon and in order to answer more intimately to one of the person that asked if we would do a possible summon the aion, or give a ''aeon'' call toward the eidolon, here is my Answer. No the Eidolon do not grant power to a normal summoner, neither does it do only a blast. As they also represent the god of the realm. They have no intention therefore to make such a pact. However the aeon that you invoke have a real sheet, they don't just grant power. they actually exist, and if the fanbase is there we will make there sheet also.

But here isn't all. We have extended the project a bit and we will make the Eidolon TRUE SHEET. This meaning that they will have a true sheet. Those will be extremely strong character that should be regarded as a true base to lvl up your summon by yourself. Normally there should be no way to summon those. NO WAY AT ALL. And since they are the higher strength of this world a bit like the beryl and shajad, some will be very high lvl, maybe beyond fantasy Tongue

IN anycase there Gnosis value will all be increased for there true form, by 5. It's perfectly normal. As they are the incarnation of the god/eidolon and not it's avatar in the material realm.

Finally, but not the least, we will make a few of the races playable that we imagined. This would included the so loved race of Freya, the Burmecian.

So glad to hear this. I'm going to be using these for my game that I am currently running, which is very Summons heavy atm (I have 5, maybe 6 characters, of which 3 are somehow linked to Summoning and Summons). Great to hear you guys are still working on this, and looking forward to whatever else you add. Keep up the excellent work.

Cold Resistance: Being a part of the water has raised his resilience to cold and so, any time he must make a resistance check based on cold, he adds +50 to his resistance.

Extreme Vulnerability: As the embodiment of water, electrical surges would always travel too easily through his body and cause him extra damage. Every time he receives damage on the Electricity table, he must pass an MR check of 160 or take additional damage equal to the difference.

This is really amazing stuff Raybras and Destroy1. Makes me wonder if I could adapt the Anima system for Golden Sun. Though that may prove harder to manage considering how Psynergy and Djinn work.

I am a fan. To be honest, the whole concept of permanent summonability of the eidolons in form of your personal per level growing avatar, doesn't really appeal to me. I also didn't like this concept change since FF X - strange, because I always dreamt about actual summon before that. Tongue

But it is good to see those Eidolons transcribed into Anima here. The only thing was that their tailoring after the per level growth scheme (all lvl.4) didn't show the relation of their true power. But I see you are taking care of that Cheesy

These summons are permanent until you run out of Zeon. If you read the post where Fenrir is, you'll see we put a cost to keeping them summoned. Also, they are not all Level 4: Fenrir is level 2, Ifrit also. Ramuh is 3 ad shiva also. Etc. But yes, the real eidolons, not the avatars that you summon, will be more powerful in many aspects. As far as i know, sone of them might not even be the same class, but we are still discussing that.

They aren't permanent at all. In fact we are not only working their true sheet, but we intend to make a small modification to the rule of zeon cost.

As we based the zeon cost on ff11, we realise that the best ff were not mmorpg, but the rpg itself. Therefore the formula isn't quite there yet, but All summon will have a base summoning cost probably equal to it's Gnosis.

Then to prevent a summonner to have actually only Zeon regeneration and/or accumulation we will post also a few idea of what trial any eidolon/aeon will make the summonner go and the Summon/bind/control/bannish ability require to uses them.

As the rule right now in anima aren't totaly fitting for Fanal Fantasy.

Beside this isn't official yet, but the upkeep cost and the summoning cost of eidolion and Elemental will augments so will the difficulty to summon, should you have more then one outside.

Example, let say we go by gnosis, Shiva would cost 35 to summon, then be free 1 turn,  haft her upkeep cost the second turn, then full upkeep cost the 3rd and so turn.

Mutiple Eidolon would go as far as 10 time more expensive, going to 350 to summun shiva as a second summon, and both summon would cost 10 time more to keep, so if they had a base of 20 to keep they would both undergo a 200 zeon to keep turn, Raising it to 400 zeon. Better have really huge mana battery at your disposal.

Elementals would be less expensive being much more weak. They would probable only cost 3 time more then they would normal 1 elemental would cost 20 to summon, 2 would cost 60, 3 would cost 180, 4 would cost 540. Forget about 5 don't you agree ?

Ps : Elements are generic. Eidolon are unique, never would you be able to summon twice Shiva. Also remember that if she dies, she won't be usable before she is fully heal. And also remember if shiva or leviathan or any eidolion are being unsummon with damage. They keep that damage and heal at the speed of there regeneration/day Considering that if she was summon during that day, she didn't rest and if she wasn't summon she did rest. Finally and not the least this is also true for there ki and zeon.

Ps : I believe they all have slow healer, use carefully.
