[Roy Killington]

Hey all!  Following alphawhelp's footsteps, I decided to not hijack his thread and instead start my own!  alphawhelp has kindly offered up his personal forum for this purposes, so be sure to give him a thank you!

This will be my first time GMing Anima, but I have GMed DnD a couple times so it won't be a completely virgin experience.  I'm really just looking to get familiar with the system while also having a TOTALLY AWESOME TIME!  

The game doesn't have a set start date, but sometime around the area of "Soonly" would be nice.  Any and all comers, really, but I would most definitely appreciate some experienced players who will help right me when I am unsure of what to do.  As a note, it will be using only the core rulebook!! I do not have any of the expansions like Gaia or the Exxet books, so I don't want to try and play the rules without ever having read them.

We now have our own board on alpha's site!  So, all interested parties: here's what you need to do!
(1) Go to alphawhelp's website, which can be easily done with this link!

(2) Register on aforementioned forum, whatever name you want really, but make sure that if it's not the one you use here, holler at me!  I'm also on there as Roy Killington.

(3) Once you've completed the registration process, look up at the top left corner and do the following: User Control Panel > Usergroups > Royal Machinations > Submit

(4) Wait for me to approve you for the group and we'll go from there!

I'll get you approved as soon as I can, and soon I'll have up the necessary info threads!

I'm game to try it.  I've never played Anima before, but I've been GMing the game for about a year now.  How do you plan on handling things like chargen and rolls?  I've heard about a lot of different ways but never tried PbP before.

I've got read-only access to alphawhelp's currrent game, so I'm going to be looking to that for guidance on some of the PbP things.  But I'm thinking that we will use that rolz.org site, as it keeps a record of all the rolls.  That way, everybody can see the roll, and (though I wouldn't anyway) there's no "magic rolls," nor does it depend on one person (aka me) doing all the rolling.

And character gen will be a point-buy system for characteristics, 55 points with a cap of 10 the transition from 9 to 10 costing 2 points.

Count me in as a player!  I've GM'd Shadows within Dreams, so I have basic experience with Anima, but certainly not a ton.  It will be my first time as a player.

I set you up a forum where you are the moderator.  you will have to approve people for the Usergroup by going to User Control Panel -> Usergroups -> Manage Groups -> Manage Users

I opted to join your group under the same name. If you want my help id suggest i have writing access. I eont spam and ill look into some rulings and give my opinion and experience into said matters. Ive been playing anima for well over 3 years now and ive been a co-gm in some rulings and creature creation and such.
