Parrying a Nuke is perfectly possible if you have Aura Extension + Presence Extrusion.
Sure. but the nuke can have predetermined attack 440.

Weaponsmaster is no way underpowered.

I agree, a weaponmaster can hold his own if well built.
I still think mundane armor is underpowered against energy and underpowered in general, but the weaponmaster can still be effective.

Yep. Especially after you toss in some quality bonuses for those pieces of heavy armor and maybe even a couple ranks of energy armor so any of your opponents will have to roll pretty high to be able to even scratch him.

Dude may not be the most damaging class, or the best guy to throw at an army of enemies, but he does just fine as the last person on their feet in the final fight with the big, bad leader due to massive armor armor and life points. I'm fairly cool with him how he is.

1 CP + 30 MK + some +5-10 Plate = AT 10 against energy. Or 8 wihtout too much investment.

Do high level weaponmasters tend to buy more MK for level-up CPs (when allowed) or are the free points enough to get by?
Come to think of it, what is the list of the most important ki things you need to keep up with other people in your experience? Inhumanity, Energy Armor, Presence Extrusion, Zen, Flight?

Yes they do tend to buy Martial Knowledge. But in my experience even Technician had Martial Knowledge III, so it's not the sign of weaponsmaster being underpowered.

Well Technicians (IME?) have a pretty difficult power-up phase in the first levels so kickstarting it with MK advantages feels pretty natural and sensible. Whereas Weaponmasters seem to get the need for it later. I don't know what I would do with a first level Tech if I didn't buy any MK

I-hit-him-again. The Tech I meant was at Lv 10, and still he had Martial Training III. Because he had no enough MK.

For weapon masters? Presence Extrusion is the big first one. Then it depends on where they want to go. They have enough Ki for a few decent abilities. Dumping 30 more on Ki Control to get some miniscule Dominion Tech ability by level whatever seems a bit of a waste, unless they bought Martial Mastery at level 1 (which I've seen a Weaponmaster do, and end up looking decent). Personally, I think getting an Impossible Weapon is a decent idea, so Inhumanity (which also opens up the capacity to have Inhuman strength, very good thing for a WM) is pretty important as well.

Presence extrusion is number 1, absolutely mandatory.
Number 2 is use of necessary energy. Weapon Masters with high Constitution can overcome their lack of accumulation by burning up to 5 fatigue points for a +5 to all accumulations, and use it to start maintained tecniques. It's the only way they can efficently access tecniques. Another interesting one is Sacrifice: ki points cost WM too much, but on the other hand they have very high hp.

Presence Extrusion is a mere prerequisite to Aura Extension.
