Hello everyone,
I played with this thought for a while now and finally have decided. I wanted to write down some of my thoughts about strategy and tactic for some of the characters in an easy to print, easy to modify format. This meant electronic of course. And since I could easily copy and paste it, why not share it with you guys out there?
I've decided for the following approach: I will use this topic to give you a general overwiev about the standard layout and items of discussion I will use for every character. At the end of the topic I'll post a list with hyperlinks to the different characters I've written my thoughts down so far. These topics will have a general disclaimer stating that this are only my thoughts and a link back to this topic, so people can find the whole list quite easily. Keeping the list here also means you guys just need to bookmark this one topic if you are interested in this kind of ahem, well *megalomaniac behavior strikes* online "strategy guidebook".
At the beginning of the list there will be a collection of links that are general, thus not for a specific mini. This will include general thoughts, party-building, organization based strategies and tactics, etc.
This little collection of thoughts of mine has it's drawbacks however:
First: I will only post thoughts about characters I (personally) think I've had enough gaming experience with to give a well founded discussion about.
Second: That (of course) means that I won't be able to give a discussion about new out minis for roughly 2 to 4 weeks after their release - earliest! Even though we get previes of the stats here in the forum (thanks for that AnimaJunkie), I hate using proxies for such well-crafted miniatures to be honest.
Third: I used to get my minis as soon as they got out, but find myself in a mood to buy them all 2 or 3 months now. (Which might be obvious from my "average fighter" topic, since it didn't get an update way back to november) Hopefully with some fresh blood in our group I'll get back into the swing (others might say craziness of fandom, whatever) and get my minis on time, but throughout the whole of December we didn't manage to play even once (it's getting better, though. WAY better) which actually cracked down on my buying habit also.
Fourth: Since I will spam neither this nor the linked topics with "update this" and "added that and corrected those", I will update the relevant topics as soon as I think something needs adding (e.g. new minis or advantage card that form a good combo for the discussed mini), justifcation (e.g. tactics usually stated as "ineffective") or correction (e.g. new opponent made me review my tactis, new minis that block certain tactics, errata). Included in this is this post itself if necessary. (e.g. structur of the general strategies and tactics expanding, adding links for newly discussed minis)
A nice side-effect of this approach is, that we'll have a topic for (almost) every character to discuss them, which, of course, I would really appreciate. If anyone else wants their strategy topics, blogs etc. linked here, just PM me (please don't clamp the thread with "Link this please:HTML.REF") and I'll link it (with your name of course) as soon as I am back in the forum. I also took the liberty to having already linked several topics from the beginning. If you want those links removed for your threads, pleas PM me also.
I hope this way we can get a really nice collection of different thoughts and approaches to strategy and tactic in Anima: Tactics.

Character's name Obviously the name of the character. Every topic will also be named: "Wendigos' thoughts about [CHARACTERNAME]" for ease of reference.
General Here I'll discuss my general thoughts about the character beginning with a short overview. This whole section and it's sub-sections will be quite short and brief, since I want to go into more detail in the other two sections (faction- and organization-based play) because it can make a tremendous difference what kind of characters you can choose with you units.
combat role: The general role of the character in a party (close-combat, supporter, range attack, hybrid, special, etc.) and some general tactics that have prooven to be effective in my games so far no matter the opponent or own party members.
advantage cards: This sub-section will discuss the available advantage cards that are useful to the character in general.
combinations: Other characters that I've found build a good combination when paired in a party with the discussed character. As might be expected, Only neutrals or wanderers will get much attention here , since I want to discuss this almost exclusivley in the two sections further down. This will also include general thoughts about a characters team, if he has one.

team: Yepp, this is a sub-sub-section which will only be shown if the character is in a team. Hyperlinks to other teammembers will also be included if available.
Faction-based Play This section will discuss the character if playing a party based on a faction (Light, Darkness and Neutral). I will give the whole neutral characters in neutral factions an only briefly larger shot, since those tactics work for Light and Darkness too and I won't need to repeat myself then when I'm discussing their use in those factions. The sub-sections are essentially the same as those above but tailored to a faction-based party and hence more comprehensive and detailed. Also I will try not to let it get too eshaustive (if the mood strikes me) or too short (if the other mood strikes me). Factions can use roughly two-third of the available characters in the whole game in their partys, so it's quite hard to balance the two. Especially so for wanderers who can essentially turn up in ANY party you build. (Unless some non-neutral wanderer came along of course, by the way one is up to come I think). And as mentioned above my experience (and personal fondness) with the relevant character will play a part into the lenght of the characters' discussion, too.

team: Organization-based Play Finally this section will discuss the character if played as part of a party of its own affiliation. It will also discuss which affiliation boni work best for the specific character. Wanderers will of course get very much attention here (even more so then above) since they can be played in every faction. Again the sub-sections are the same as in the previous two sections, also very specific and (hopefully) comprehensive, since affiliation-based partys have the narrowest choice of characters in the whole game.
