With the release of Lynn Steiner (should get mine by next week) & Shinobi's redefined as usable replacement for Black Sun Agents in relationship to Free Agents.  I think it time to see what are now the reasonable parties and tactics they can take.  Go ahead and use the Type-009 if you want but personally I tend to stick with released unit only.

You know I should show the route most common in Black Sun so far.

Black Sun Org Adv: Dawn of the Dead

Leader Clover(70)
Non-Leader Nk-X 75 (60)
Promethia (40)
Deimon (45)
Raziel Archetypum 60 (45)
Type-012 Hunter (40)

Basically Clover is the leader so powerful and versatile (being both Undead/Living) at the time, that both alternatives Crossraiker Nk-X (underwelming) and Kagemaru (losing out on many synergies) seemed rather poor.

Promethia was there to buff Undead and control them which helped Clover, Nk-X, and Raziel.  The Hunter could go in advance and go out of control like a bull in a rival's tea shop.

Deimon is now almost a must in Black Sun for  his support, bodyguard, beat-stick, & de-buff roles.  All of which he does very well and he is living to boot!

The line up might change a little with the mix of Nk-X, Raziels, and Hunters but for the most part that was the pattern.  Rather brute force monstrosities.

My variant Steiner:
Free agents (of course)
Lynn Steiner (Leader) 55 (+ "included" 20 Power Source, + 5 Rapfael Gift)
Deimon 45 (+ 5 Fate Clock)
Kingsley Warlock 50 (+ 5 Control Bound)
Dereck Shezzard 60 (65 - 5 = 60) (+ 10 Supernatural Weapon)
Drake 45 (50 - 5 = 45) (+ 5 Fate Clock)
Khaine D`Lacrua 45 (50 - 5 = 45) (+ 5 Life Potion)

Drake 45 (50 - 5 = 45) (+ 5 Fate Clock)
Khaine D`Lacrua 45 (50 - 5 = 45) (+ 5 Life Potion)

Here is a quick overview of Free Agents current ruling from AS:  Your party gets one Wanderer Slot for each living Black Sun Agent.  Each Wanderer Slot is discounted by 10 levels.  Shinobi are considered Organizational Agents and don't take up a Wanderer Slot, but do trigger the bonuses for Free Agents as they are considered living Black Sun Agents.

Unfortunately I don't think your party is legal.  For one Lynn Steiner has 25 free levels so she can take (attach) up to two Advantage cards.  Power Source is a plot and is not attached to anyone.  So Lynn can't use her free levels on it.  She can only get for "free" Equipment and Powers.  The Innate Ability is written sorta like Equipment on Wiss characters.

Second Lynn's innate ability doesn't raise the limit on Advantage cards that the party can take as a whole.  So you got six characters, meaning you can only take six advantage cards not seven you have listed.

Other then that I find your use of Kingley questionable as you lose his best function, a tough controller.  On top of that he is set up to kill himself by the end of the battle.

In the end Lynn Steiner with Free Agents has become come a mash up of Wiss's Org Advantages Manipulation & Lost Loggia.  Its allow one to field swarm parties but with much more powerful units then normal swarm parties.  Kind of funny in that that Black Sun's version of a swarm party would have thought to have been more Undead in nature, but with Type-005 disappointment the "living" Steiner led swarm looks more tempting.

Okay I've decided my B-List Black Sun Team is going to be following:

Black Sun Org Adv: Dawn of the Dead

Leader Lynn Steiner(55)[Supernatural Weapon, Dragonblood]
Non-Leader Nk-X 75(60)
Promethia(40) [Protective Shield]
Deimon(45) [Fate Clock]
Raziel Archetypum 60(45)
Kagemaru(55) [Supernatural Devourer]

[Tactics]

Pretty much the same except for two changes.  Lynn free up adv points to equip the others while the using up the slots the Undead can't.  Kagemaru keeps my prowler hunter/killer but with less of the headaches of it going out of control.  Lynn is pretty versatile so I went in-between with a offensive advantage and a defensive advantage.  I could have gone with Ultimate/Supernatural Weapon or Ceridwen/Dragonblood for extreme modes.

Yeah, even though I have one personally I should note that it might be better to play another card like Aberration Power or even Supernatural Armor.  Kind of funny in that Lynn is the one character I can start to look at advantage cards I would never even consider before like Fate Clock, Supernatural Armor, or Greater Life Potion.

Right now that would be:

Free Agents

Lynn Stiener (55)
Deimon (45)
1-2 Shinobi (35-80)
Wanderer
Wanderer
Wanderer
?Wanderer?

While Clover could work here he, Lynn is much cheaper and also gives you a discount on Advantage Cards.  Deimon is taken in almost any BS team and is generally consider a must have at this point.

Shinobi have been ruled as a substitute for Organizational Agents for Free Agents and thus create both a Wanderer slot and 10 level discount for said slot.  Both Maclein (ignore the Adv over limit choices) and Kagemaru have Black Sun lists posted in this thread that have no Undead units.

Here is another one but with Clover instead.

Leader Clover(70)
Deimon (45)
Shinobi or Promethia (40)
Drake (40)
Dereck (55)
Faust (50)

You can build a decent Shinobi that is for the most part your stealth hunter or go with Promethia who is squishy but is a decent debuffer and buffer for Clover.  In this group you have 5 pretty nasty beat-sticks.

Cool..don't have Lynn Stiener yet but I will have her..I like the second list but I lack a shinobi so Promethea is the next best thing...
Here's what i got so far

Clover 70
 Promethea 40
 Deimon 45
Kagemaru 55
Dereck 55
Sophia 35

Don't know how well that would work..

It should be okay but remember both Kagemaru 45 levels and Sophia 25 levels are using up a Wanderer slot and thus get a 10 level discount associated with that slot. Leaving you 20 levels to either upgrade Sophia or get some seriously expensive advantage cards or toss in a disposable Type-005.

Personlly I'm hoping the announce Clover's assistant Bridget or Lynn's bodyguard Velvetaire.  That and the Necrogolem would put me into Black Sun heaven!

Just remember Promethia is Clover's personal b...uh lady, and Sophia is basically the village bicycle.  Tongue

I'm really happy with Lynn Steiner and Free agents, essentially every Quality wanderer that gets released is now a better black sun model.  Heres to hoping Anna Never is Badass

Black Sun Org Adv: Dawn of the Dead

Leader Clover(70)
Non-Leader Nk-X 75
Promethia (40)
Deimon (45)
2x Type-012 Hunter 100 (70) (Advance Hunter/Final Protocol)

This is one of the best teams in the game period. Clover's Prometheum can win the game for you. The hunters are surprisingly tough and can do a lot of damage on the charge. They are great at tying up enemy units as well as wear them down with multiple attacks. Also, the hunter are great at revealing stealth characters which means that provide this team with a counter to the Wissenschaft sinpers. The NK-X is a break that can heal itself if it gets a kill. Deimon supports Clover with AP as well as being one of the best 45 point units in the game.

It reeks of evil from that list. Brrr I wouldn't want to encounter it during my friendly gaming time.

Uh who knows, but I'm guessing Clover is more a cousin since Promethia is depicted as the main heir to the Delacroix fortune, while Clover was just most suited in the family (that could mean uncle, 3rd cousin, in-law...).  Plus I thought the most likely brother to Promethia was killed by Harod.  But Clover was one of the five original Black Sun seekers who found the Book of the Dead and transformed not assassinated.
