i was wondering how a character could go about making a Frankenstein monster i use both necromancy and creation magic.

Pretty much this. The spell actually has you gather the raw material to create the being you want. You want it to have four legs? Make sure you have four legs lying around. Want it to fly? Grab a pair of wings from somewhere.
