Just seen on FRP the Church Boxset is up for pre-order and it has this pic.



Well its solid with Alis, Luzbell, Grey, Azriel, Nero, Xavier.  No really support but a lot of beatsticks and glass cannons.

Chruch is also the close one to an actual 300 level party at 270.  In contrast Empire is 265 and Azur is 260.  I also I suspect Empire box set lineup was set a long time ago before many Saga III units even came out.  But one thing to consider is, I believe the rulebook got stalled enough so that a few Saga III units did make it into it.  Basically all the Summon Creatures I think fall into here as well as maybe Lilian.  Plus these sets seem to follow some rules.  

1. No leaders or optional leaders (no Yuri, or March)
2. Only cheapest MSRP (no Maximo, Black Lion or Macbeth)
3. No units from the starter sets
4. Six units per boxset.
5. Maybe only one card units so far.

So I'm guessing Samael is next but this one will be hard.

Maybe to make Ayl more appealing they do a re-sculpt?  But still this group is a little fragile and other options are a little to pricey for this boxset that being Konsuke or Genma with at least one summon creature.

Wiss is a little easier with up to 8 characters that could fit nicely: Alessa, Cordy, Celia, Feng Yi, Veronica, Rayne, Hiro, and Lorenzo.  My prediction.

Well its only a guess, but Celia seems like a strong pick and she is the Anima cover girl.  Hiro I'm guessing since he is one of the best non-Gear beat sticks and they were giving him away at Emareld Comic-Con.  The rest fit due to the fact they only have one card.  That theory is why I left out Veronica (another ECC giveaway), Cordy, and Momiji but who knows.

- Six units per boxset.
- No leader.
- Only small bases.
- No units from the starter sets.
- No units over $ 10'99.
- Do not break teams, why not leave Astraega in Church.
- Less than 280 levels, but over 250 levels.

Touche with Lilian ... then, Lorenzo and Rayne if they could enter the group Wissenchaft.

Gemma can be useless without invocation, but in truth, little more would have telling minis Saga I, II and III.

Yeah there is not a lot of luv for the tweener Duncan.  So its nice to see another rare fan.  I too play him in my Combat Mastery Empire team with another red-headed step child Ignis.

Yeah right now Samael is very hard to do without breaking some the trends set so far.

- No units over $11.99. (Might be baseline price for newer units)
- No units with a second skill card. (so far the trend)
- Less than 280 levels, but over 250 levels.

Going by those rules I see Samael Starter.

- Kairos
- Aoi Inukai
- Janiel
- Shinigami Ayl (seriously needs a re-sculpt if did)
- Yuki
- ? (really needs to break the trend here)  with I would think either Momiji or Nahimana.  I would pefer Nahimana.  And really she her cost is now in line with the newer base size models.

255 levels 

Lizbeth is right about Genma and if you dump her in the starter box that would be a bad thing for newbie getting into the game.  Now if they were willing to break trend I could see them adding Genma with either Elhaym, Maiden of Light (price and base size right) or Ahriman, Lord of Darkness (price very close and easy to use).  Now if they really wanted to show off summoning I would go this route.

Duncan always liked ... with the improvements of the book still more.

And all 3 benefits would improve it a lot, Combat Mastery leads critics to 8 yes ... but Chosen of the empress, he raises attack, defense and resistance and the double dice for all his attacks do very well to force the critic to 9 more ... and finally  Armor Imperial upload it to Armor 5 that a lot power to function as a tank.


But the topic ... the possibility of Samael band with two invocations I really like, but do not think is that, because we know the time boxes allow any character to replace them by the economic leader of the organization, and in that band if we take away Gemma, we have to also remove the invocations so do not see it.

I've even been suggested that the boxes start of each organization received minis with upgradado price of 11.99 as you say and to review the list of the price rise, I realized I did not come out any character boxes Empire Church or ... so this could be the clue to future cases, but if you leave Deadmoon so my theory breaks alone. : (

Not if you replace Genma with say her brother Covel!   

Still no matter how you cut it Samael Box Set is going to break a trend or be the most pathetic starter set out there. 

One other starter I thought of might be:

- Re-Sculpt Shinigami Ayl
- Kairos
- Nahimana
- Aoi Inukai
- Janiel

Pull DC or Ayl for either Dinah or Ophiel.

I have also come to believe, that could simply complete the starter set of darkness:


- Dark Chessire
- Ayl
- Bael
- Kairos
- Aoi
- Janiel

270 levels, so replacing any mini put to any of the current leaders ...

Although would think instead of Kairos, another character of light ... and so prove to be an organization of extremes. Light But right now, I can not imagine anyone else in Samael that meets small base. ¿Yuuki as neutral? It's a bit more expensive, but may become valid.

Medium base ... may be, but i think not. Yuki and Gemma the most possible, Momiji failure by the two bases.

Is it bad that the boxed set of darkness, are the 3 characters Samael ... leaves options for boxed set of Samael. xD
