I'm sorry to say that I figure this class is going to do poorly.

50% Combat means that every martial art he takes (and said martial arts are more costly than those of a Tao) eat big holes in his Attack/Defend.  His secondary abilities, some of which are necessary prerequisites for martial arts, are going to be really poor (because in order to be anywhere near capable in both fighting and summoning, he's going to have to dump his points into those areas).  His low martial knowledge isn't going to help either.

And why +1 Subterfuge for 1 point?  That seems very wrong for a generalized 'Martial Artist/Summoner'.

If one wants to do a Martial Artist/Summoner, my guess is one is better off using the Ki-Based seals of invocation in Dominus Exxet.  :)

Also the problem is that every time someone pulls such a combo he gets killed by some kind of Lazarus or such.

Also, he has no class bonuses to his summoning abilities.  :(

Yeah, the Seals of Invocation kind of make this class a bit redundant.  Because a pure Technician or Tao could do the summoning anyway, and not get hit either by the more expensive Martial Arts costs or the Ki Accumulation costs.

Plus, split-classes (or at least ones that use two different types of primary ability, like Warlocks, Warrior Summoners, Warrior Mentalists etc) don't work too well with Martial Arts, because they're spending so much on their Primary Abilities that they don't have the DP to spend on the Secondary Abilities that are Martial Art prerequisites (like Style, Sleight of Hand, Acrobatics, Athleticism, Feats of Strength, Dance.... etc), let alone basics like Notice, Stealth, Hide etc.

You're making a heavily-cramped-and-hindered character class, just to achieve something you can already do a lot better with a straight Tao.

I second the pure Tao with Invocations idea.

Beside this, Martial Artists are Fighter/Domine class, Domine is tech, so theoretical Mystic/Domine guy is something like Warlock who exchanges his hp, block and armour for MK and reduced costs of accumulations/pools. However it's barely viable due to need to max attack, defence and dominion pool and accumulation.
