My friends and I decided to try and start an Anima Tactics podcast. We podcast our role playing sessions so we've decided to try and branch out into Anima Tactics. We're all new to the game, only been playing for a few months, so errors may pop up in rules and other discussions. Comments are welcome, we want to spread the word about Anima Tactics to as many people as possible. Have a great day!

Hate to be mister negitive but very poor podcast. Sound is bad you need more then one mic or something, also was that a watch alarm or something in ep1, to much ramble its 60minutes of "blah", etc. Now I am very happy to see people out there trying and for my favrite system at that and I hope you the best. I think three things you may think about is 1. get some one that knows how to do basic editing 2. try to make your show a set workable time 60min is a bit long 3. have a "script" Im not saying read off papers the whole show but have your topics pick out before and set a time limit to eatch topic. Again sorry to be the bad guy here just trying to help.

I haven't listened to yours yet, but I do listen to a lot of podcasts. I've stopped gamer podcasts that I really wanted to hear because the quality is bad. I just want to throw out a couple things, if you haven't already realized it:

Beware of coughing or sniffing (especially if someone has a runny nose!) into the mic. This drives me nuts!

Laughter is good, but too much is bad.

Agreed, a script/outline is good to keep you on task. Tangents are fine if they're interesting, but if you're having trouble staying under the alotted time, stick to the script.

Anyway, I'll try to give it a listen soon. Maybe my group will start recording our RPG sessions Smiley

i listened to both episodes and enjoyed them quite a bit! subscribed on itunes. personally i didn't find them too long but i like a longer podcast. however i do have to agree on the coughing/ sniffling thing. someone in your first episode kept clearing their throat and it got really annoying by the end of it. another thing is try to avoid in jokes whenever possible. remember we don't get it. the only other thing i noticed is be careful with overtalking each other. in the second episode there was a part that i was interested in but you all had something to say and said it all at the same time, and so i got none of it. these are constructive criticisms though. keep it up! i cant wait for the next one!
