Janiel's new artwork doesn't remind me of her at all, at first glance i thought it was a new character.

That's not new artwork either as its featured in the A:T rulebook as many of the characters in there have a alternate artwork like Hime and Veronica.

As for the choice of Kairos I think he is a solid midlevel fighter and replaces Dark Cheshire in my Ophiel party since I already have a ton of heavies and he saves me 5 levels.  His combination of skills is cost effective for the role I see him in.

As for the box set, Aoi and Janiel would have been fine choices but not together, especially with Yuki and Genma along for the ride.  Way to soft and mostly support types.  Momiji is an interesting unit in that she is an excellent stealth hunter and support killer, but not a frontal assault type unit.  I haven't played them against the other box-sets but I don't see them doing to well as they have almost no offensive punch.  Heck Ayl would have been a better choice to replace Genma or Yuki.  Basically this a party primed for nothing more then a pillow fight.

I remember the sweet times when I didn't had konosuke (30$), there was no Morrigan or Nahimana and freaking Ophiel was unattainable on the market and you had to proxy him if you wanted soem diveristy on your table. Where you had to choose for your vanguard between, cheshire, kairos, or the shinigami. Obviously you would pick Kairos and Cheshire most of the time, but I wonder how your team reacts when Kairos is 95% of time siting on the bench brooding.

Nahimana or Morrigan or other newcomers who replace Kairos probably must have raised some questions why suddently the brother of The Ophiel who was going toe to toe with Romeo , XII or Griever is now the laughing stock of the rest of the team. Probably even the always cheerful Aoi jokes about how Kairos should:
-stop focusing on his brooding skills and move to hiting the enemy, or effective tanking
-take some spear-wielding lessons from the Empire, especially when it comes to hiting!

Okay so am I wrong thinking that Ophiel would be a good leader choice for this box, considering the general lack of warriors in it? What would you drop/replace if you wanted to go with that (provided it's not a terrible idea)? I suspect Genma is not going to be worth keeping sans any summons.

This appears to have been delayed. I've had trouble finding a release date but the few places I've seen suggest it would be late august. Anyone have any intel on its release?

Yeah its late along with Juliette Kaim for Azur Alliance.  This is very likely due to Gencon and would could see them any time now in the next few weeks.

I'm new to anima and while I see the lack of front line streght I still want all these units as well so I am just gonna order this and save a bit of cash.... My goal... own them all! muahaha

Just starting to get into the Tactics side of thing, but I agree, I do think I'd like to own all the mini's I can get my hands on. Can someone perhaps suggest a good group to start with, if I were to get into actually using them? I've the hardbound Tactics rulebook, though to be honest, atm, I've used it primarily for the RPG background.

Not so sure about that one, but I might be persuaded over to the Azur Alliance, if that's where that Vetela character can be found. Do we know anything about him? I've seen the pics, and that's all I know.

We don't know a lot as he's from the as of yet unreleased Saga III rulebook. But he seems to be a special agent, one of the high ranking Les Jaeger members, jostling for influence in that organization with the Colonel and his gang.
