Well its finally up and I have to say I'm a little worried about it.  It rather weak and only has one warrior and the rest squishy units, including one that is for the most part useless (Genma) without additional purchases.  Really should have replaced her with Nahimana or at the very least Dark Cheshire.

I wonder if the expectation is that the buyer will also purchase the Dark starter? One one hand it is more convenient without getting duplicate units but on the other hand Dark Cheshire would really not go amiss in that box.

Yuki AND Genma is a bit of a red herring but otherwise it looks ok, dropping one of the lower level characters for a leader (ok Dinah) may be the smartest move for new players.

And by the way, even though this new art of Genma has bigger 'tat-tas', when you stop looking at them an focus on her even sexyer face you will see that her face has a very realisticly-looking third eye... with eyelashes, eyebrows... Wen-m... stop, please don't kill off the image of my Genma to make her look more Samael-ish. I will stop all my mockery about Maria being the distraction-panties of the church strike force but please stop it, I want my rulebook genma.

No reason why Kairos shouldn't be replaced with Nahimana, giving a huge, medium, big, small ,big ,big team.

Janiel's new artwork doesn't remind me of her at all, at first glance i thought it was a new character. Genma's on the other hand is pretty cool.

Janiel and Aoi are solid choices i think. Kairos and Momiji could also be used until one can replace them with Nahimana, Dark Chesire or Konosuke. Dark Chesire would have been much better than Kairos but i think due to the fact that he is included in the dark sarter, hadn't been chosen now (and to an extend that also applies to Ayl i think, older starters included her instead of Bael if i'm not mistaken).

ok so lets sum it up how would the new box look to a new comer.

First we have big funbags, and please do not try to persuade me that she fits the spirits of the land theme because in the most polite manner it looks like this:
Eyes + mouth + below = VERY specialized geisha

Then we have an elf, elves are cool

Third is our token male brooding hero which is I think the best decision regarding Kairos I have ever seen because  Samael males lets see: resurected oni assasin, a sexual predator, a sociopathic madman with sharp tentacle shadow thingy and a long-haired, split personality magician with a big white thing coming out of his pants. Theye are not the most  friednly people on the planet. So it was Kairos or Male agent which is also cool. I can totally picture Kairos's brooding
-"oh how pitful am I , I want to join Dinah's side but I love my mad brother and I want to protect him because of our mother. AM I A MONSTER??"

Oriental elf gir with a tail which is more visable on the figure so yeah you have the cougar-woman and her apprentice, newbie geisha?

In your fifth row our new Anima players can see how having a bigger cleavage can give you stealth bonuses in form of a portable cover. Unfortunatly for Momiji its only light cover...and her tails. Wen-M should do more pictures exposing tails. HOW MANY MINIATURES HAVE TAILS ANYWAY? PROMOTE WOMEN AND MEN WITH TAILS!

Lastly we have a very small picture of a magi, so small that you can't see her creepy third eye, hopefully and you won't see because her card art is the original art where she keeps her wierd vodoo to herself.
