Lasso of Unity is instantaneous effect It places the counter and ceases to be. same as damage — you make the attack and the damage stays. In this case the counter.
If the character passes an effect then he is not affected and so can be affected by the second usage of the ability.

I have to check that out Lizbeth, thanks (page if you do remember please).
But still, 12/6 without Concentration isn't bad, even if it's a normal charge. But is it better than a static 17 Def with free reactive charges/attacks?

@Zachilles: Free Agents is irrelevant, Clover counts as alive if you want to (i guess), You don't want Lynn to suffer damage to give haste and her transferring ability works well on models that are already included (Promethea, Sophia).

I was referring to Lynn being cheaper so it easier to fit in more expensive wanderers

Is there anyone who causes Berserk in enemies? It would be amusing to pop that on an enemy close to Lynn, and watch them smash themselves to death against her wall of free Attacks. Tongue

In the faction of light, you have Erika to bring Berserker.

With light you can make some really cheap and nasty lists e.g.:

Lynn (Fate Clock + Nine Lives)
Macbeth
Lilian (Weapons of Azrael)
Deimon/Grey/Hazel/Faust/any other warrior up to Lv 60
Evangeline
Sophia

Weapons of Azrael (other cards to taste)

With Defensive Analysis, Consecrate and Aura of Protection, you are looking at DEF 19 RST 12 for Mirror Image with ATK 8 reprisal attacks... Macbeth and another tank for support and protecting the other support characters at least 4 sources of healing including Lynn herself. You could even drop the second warrior and go for Rindhold or Luzbell for movement shenanigans.

That is way too heavy on support imo. 2 pure support and 3 hybrid support.

I'd drop Evangeline for another Warrior type.

It was a beer-mat list to illustrate the Blessing + Defensive Analysis + Consecrate abuse potential. Also I wouldn't call Macbeth a support character in any form, even without Immortal Breath and Consecrate he's still easily worth his levels as a warrior.

As a pure warrior, he isn't that impressive without his support abilities. Macbeth's primary attraction is the mesh of support and tankiness he possess. Both Immortal Breath and Consecrate are very good support abilities.

If you were just wanting a tanky warrior, you would get the likes of Kronen or Odin.

That said, the "abuse" of buffing Lynn is a bit exaggerated, spending upwards of 5 AP to buff a single character may seem impressive, but that single character doesn't have enough killing power to make up for 3+ characters spending their AP supporting her.

This is why I feel the list is too support heavy, it is putting all its eggs into the basket that is Lynn.

---------

For list building I see character's in 3 categories:

Front-line: Characters capable of dishing out damage, the staple in most lists. Example: Black Lion, Xavier, Hiro, etc

Tanks: Extremely tough characters meant to shield/intercept for the other roles, as well as stall the enemies more dangerous characters. Example: Kronen, Grey, Nahimana, etc.

Support: Character's meant to compliment the other 2 roles, are generally vulnerable/less useful on their own. Example: Bael, Sophia, Evangeline.

------

Ideally, a list should have 2-3 front-line characters, 1-2 tanks, and 2-3 support (shifting depending on the Organization in question). Hybrid characters like Macbeth help condense this, generally allowing more room for (preferably) more front-line characters.

The reason for this is simple, you need more self-sufficient characters then ones who rely on others to work.
If your support dies and you still possess a front-line, victory is still possible, but if your front-line dies and you are only left with support, the game is basically over.

And the opponent is supposed to act like "whoa there is overbuffed Lynn with counterattacks, I think I'll ignore support characters and go on straight for her!"?

You did refer to it as a "really cheap and nasty list" we were just offering a rebuttal.
