I've been sitting on this for months, and meaning to get it posted. It doesn't have the artifacts, or the powers, but it is the rules to create the artifacts as done in Promethium Exxet. I can't guarantee there will be more of this book done, but I will try. Hope this is a good start, for those who are interested. Also, this chapter includes the new skills Runes, Alchemy, and Animism. Mostly they are skills used for creating enchanted objects, but they now officially exist.

That's what I'm seeing, yes. Makes them kind of vicious to create. I have not read through the entire book, only really that small section, so how that could change, I'm not sure. It does explain why supernatural artifacts are rare on Gaia, though, with those requirements.

Those are two ways to "power" a artifact, but not the only one. You can use Zeon for temporary artifacts, you can use other artifacts to create new one or use unique components - there's a list of possible ones in the actual book, some are fary dust or blood of an ancient linage... if you ever asked yourself what you could use the empress for in your game, heres one xD

Yes, Alchemie is the only way to achive power level 5 artifacts, on the other hand it is also realy hard to get the required power source for power level 5 aritfacts so they problably won't be made by players unless the GM intends so.

They actually aren't so rare thought, there is atleast one lvl 1 artifact that is commonly sold to the public in shivat and there are lots of low level artifacts that are on stock in you local black sun store (if you know where one is, ofcurse) Wink

I am going to try. Due to the fact that creation rules without powers does a fat lot of good, it has moved up on the list of things to do. But, it's a lengthy section, so will take a while. Sadly, I don't have those already translated. Someone was going to work on them with me, but that sort of fell through.

Actually, I just popped the book open, and it's not as long as I thought it was. And seems I did miss a section on General Rules (I thought I was missing something). This will be corrected, and powers posted, probably in this thread. I shall keep you guys informed.

Awwwww... Thanks. I will try to get this stuff up quickly, but this week may not happen much. I'll be building a room and moving stuff into it during my waking, non-working hours. So not sure how much time I'll have to do translation work. But yep, been inspired, so we'll get some more of the book done, starting with the finish of Chapter 2 (includes list of powers for artifacts).

I don't remember this part in the fanlation so here are two additional secondarie skills from this part of the book:

Tailoring(Creative Skill, Dexterity)
The ability to create and design different costumes and clothing, such as capes, shirts, evening dresses ...

Goldsmithing(Creative Skill, Dexterity)
The ability of a character to make rings, bracelets or necklaces out of precious metal, glass and wood. A character can specialize in carving wood or shape glass for a +40 to his skill when he uses one of the two materials, at the expense of a -80 with the other.

theres also a list of common objects used as artifacts that coem with a additional +20 presence bonus to determine how many artifact powers they can hold in the case you give them a power they are affiliated with:

Forging: Modifier to your forging skill to craft this item
Goldsmithing: Modifier to your forging skill to craft this item
Tailoring: Modifier to your forging skill to craft this item

an NA in one of those three means it can't be crafted with that skill.

Tattoos can also be "magical objects" whose presence Base is determined by the quality and artistic complexity of it, but they have special limitations compared to other traditional artifacts. First, they can never contain powers higher than Level 3 and also the PP cost of all powers is doubled. That is, a power of level 2 that had a cost of 80 would cost 160 points if it should be placed into a tattoo.

You can make any artifact you like with a gem, however, if you use one of the powers it has a affinity with, you get an extra 20 presence you can use to get additional powers Smiley

So, you could do something like this (as an example what a little thing like Gem could pack as power):
Artifact gem lvl 2, 20 Presence
750 Zeon container (level 2 power 100 PP)
+20 MAC but those +20 can only be accumulated out of this Gem(level 2(3-1) power 150 PP with limited disadvantage)
Added Power +10 Zeon (Level 1 power 100 PP))

No, they are not the limits of what kinds of powers those objects can hold, just what they excel at holding. Those objects gain a bonus to their pressence for the perpose of holding a power it has an affinity for.

Both of the missing sections have already been translated now, and will appear in the next update.
